Rude receptionist, rough with patients, insensitive, outdated equipment

Not only did this doctor read me another clients diagnosis, he also did not listen to my concerns of medications he requested that I should take, he ignored my concerns and treated me as a child during my visit. I was so upset with this Doctor I had a family member call this office to try to better explain my concerns, after several phone calls back and forth with his office staff (upon her own request) she became extremely rude and unprofessional. Keep in mind we suggested her to call my PCP in which she denied to do so. My family and I are just in so much shock as to the lack of professionalism with Dr. Holly and his staff. Not only was he breaking HIPPA by sharing another's health information but his also violated my rights as a patient, my advice to my future self and others is to be smart, research these doctors before trusting them with my/your health.

This man is a joke. He was insulting, inaccurate and most importantly, does not believe in the existence of a medical condition called Fibromyalgia. Don't let his staff convince you that he does comprehensive testing. He is imcompetent.

I am so impressed with this doctor. I don't have my complete diagnosis yet, but I feel like I am in safe hands. He spend a lot of time asking me questions and very patient during the EMG test. Also called me right back when I had a question as soon as I came home..I now hope the diagnosis will be what I want it to be..

Dr. Hawley took a great deal of time and patience while evaluating my daughter's condition. Extremely knowledgable. Gentle doctor.

When i call to find out the test results i am asking for information to help put my mind at rest, not to be spoken to as if i do not know anything and do not need to know anything.I like to have a polite answer to my questions atleast instead of being told nothing of any help relating to the problem.I may not have insurance but the dr is supposed to help you with giving you information about what it is your asking for.I do not like to be spoken to in this way, when you are in a panic over liver damage etc from the medication all i want is honest answers to my questions.

Dr. Hawley is the best doctor I've had in years. My entire life I had episodes of dizziness and loss of vision, and I was never given any diagnosis or treatment. Dr. Hawley performed an extensive neurological exam and finally gave me a diagnosis. He spent over an hour talking with me, about any and all medical problems I have had. I am a very curious person and a biologist also, so when I asked probing questions, he took me into his office and began flipping through textbooks until he satisfied my curiosity. After the visit, he sat down and wrote a 3 page summary of everything he did and his diagnosis, along with some comments about my personality, and how I seemed like a nice girl. In total, this man must have spent a few hours just thinking about my case, personal attention like I have never received before. I have since moved away from Virginia, but I still contact Dr. Hawley occassionally and he continues to forward my prescriptions to my new doctors.

Because I could not continue with a test that was painful & nearly caused me to pass out, he gave up on me. His demeanor became cold and unconcerned and he wrote me off-no suggestion of retrying the test with a family member or friend with me, no suggestion of other testing, just an abrupt end to the visit and no further help.
