Dr. Dario Roman Castellanos, MD

I called on behalf of an elderly woman who is under this man's medical care. She has fallen several times and is in desperate need of a hospital bed. I spoke with him and he flatly refused to help. In fact, he said that he's the doctor and I am nothing but a "stupid" man for even asking. Even my impassioned plea that she could fall again and break her hip was met with nothing but disdain. He even said that if I was successful in getting her a bed that he would personally go and get the bed out of her apartment!! He added that Medicaid would not approve the bed so he would not sign, but being a hospital social worker I know that the fact that she has a history of falling would be sufficient reason to justify the bed. I cannot stress how evil, how cruel, and how uncaring this man was. When I said I would report him to the AMA, he laughed out loud in a mocking tone that would put the Joker to shame. He should have his license reviewed for revocation.
