Dr. Roman Basil Klos, MD

Waited weeks for an appointment. When I handed them my credit card, I was told they don't take credit cards. Said no problem, just give my and invoice and I would mail a check. I was told I had to go get $50 cash for my copay or they would not see me. I chose to leave and not return. He may be a great MD, not sure.

I was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and after a series of tests was referred to Dr Klos for a lobectomy. The surgery and post operative experience was much better than I ever anticipated. Dr. Klos was very professional and compassionate. I would refer Dr Klos without hesitation!

He was replacing my doctor in the removal of a chest tube from a pleurodesis. He came into the room, seemed very tense and rushed, not very calming at all, I asked him if I could make a quick phone call and he told me that he didn't have time for me to talk to my loved ones, then proceeded to rip out my tubes, allowing the fluids to go everywhere around my bed on the floor, ON the bed, and on ME. He barely bandaged me, so not even ten minutes later, I was feeling and hearing air and fluids coming and going through the holes in my chest and the nurses had to do an emergency re-bandage and, well, everything he SHOULD have done when he removed the tubes. I also had to have an emergency X-Ray to check to see if my lung had re-collapsed because of his shoddy work. I should have gone home tonight, but now I might have to stay for another extra couple of days for observation to see if he rendered my entire pleurodesis operation USELESS.

Great Surgeon. Saved my life. Heart is still pumping
