Dr. Romana Haider, MD

I am so disappointed in this doctors practice. I was told by another doctor to go to a primary doctor and get blood work done. I was very nervous about it and wanted to find a doctor quickly. I scheduled via zocdoc with Dr Haider about 5 days in advance. I received a confirmation email from the doctor office for my appointment. I hired a babysitter for my 1 year old, my husband had to rearrange his meetings in order to pick up my older child from school. I drove one hour. I enter the doctors office and no one was in there. After a couple of minutes someone poked there head of the back room and said "She'll be right there" , "great ,no problem" I said. about 6, 7 minuted after that a woman came up and said "Can I help you?" , "Yes I have a 1:30" I said. She looked at me and said "Oh we cancelled the appointments for today" . I told her "You didn't cancel mine. I have a confirmation email." Now seriously can you imagine this? The lengths some people have to go to in order to get to the… doctor and she insisted she cancelled the appointment. Finally I could see on her face that she realized she did not cancel it after I insisted I got no phone call or email from them stating it was cancelled. There was no asking to reschedule or big apology. She just told me there was an emergency with the doctors family which I said was totally understandable, emergencies happen and I understand appointments get cancelled- but normally someone would be courteous enough to do so before I got there! I had to pay for parking, $50 to my babysitter not to mention just time of mine and my husbands just waisted. and she didn't even care. Completely unprofessional, unsympathetic and in no way would I ever recommend this doctor.

Very welcoming and non-judgmental. Very helpful and factual. Takes time to explain and ensure that you are well informed about options available.

At first I liked Dr. Haider, despite having to wait a long time for her to see me after being on time for my appointment. She is friendly. But it became clear after several appointments for differing reasons that she is always trying to squeeze more money out of you. For example, she refused to give me the results on my pap smear over the phone, instead insisting that I come in for an appointment. When I got there, she didn't even have the results of my pap smear, so I refused to pay the copay and refused to come in again. Because she had made a mistake with having my results ready she gave the the results over the phone, which was literally saying, "Everything looks fine." So she wanted to make me come in and pay a $45 copay to say one sentence to me. I have never had a doctor who tried to make me come in for pap smear results. This is only justifiable if something is wrong and you need to have a follow up. She also told me that for the HPV vaccination I had to pay in office… and then submit a claims form to my insurance to be reimbursed since the vaccination is covered. Afterwards when I began the claims process, I learned that this was not proper billing procedure and I have honestly been spending months trying to rectify it and get my money back. Not only that, but they tried to bill me again for the appointment for the vaccination, which I paid for over a year ago. Overall I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. She is that nightmare office that is trying to suck all your money away with unnecessary tests (she tried to make me have bloodwork done even though I'd just had it with another doctor) and appointments. Ignore the good reviews you see and avoid her!

Dr. Haider is a wonderful caring person who really invests in her patients. She always has time to listen, ask questions, and make sure that the patient leaves feeling that she took the time to ensure your well being.

Dr. Haider is the most caring doctor I have ever had in my life. She has been working hard to improve my health. I had been very ill because my previous doctor kept saying, "Let's wait and see what happens." It turned out that I was severely allergic to medication that he had prescribed. I went through several months with severe asthma and diarrhea.I am feeling so much better! In fact, I feel wonderful! This is due to Dr. Haider. She is very attentive and listens. I have never been rushed by her and she has answered every question I have had.

Her secretary is very nice, always returns calls, and is polite. Doc is accurate in diagnosis and spent time with me unlike most dr. I would recommend Dr Haider any day.

the lady that answers the phone is too rude,i ask her to please ask the doc a question she tell no,when i ask why she says the doc will say no,as a customer i do not think its to much to see what the doc has to say,but then she hangs up on me. very sad in is case because dr haider is a real good doctor.but customer service is everthing!!!!!!!!!!!!
