Dr. Romi Bhasin, MD

I have been patient of Dr.Bhasin for 18 years. He is a great doctor. Easy to discuss problems.

I was not satisfied with my visit with Dr. Bhasin. It felt like he only heard every other word I said. He never looked at me while I talked, nor asked any follow up questions. When he was talking to me about the potential cause of my issue, he made an assumption that directly contradicted something I had told him, so I had to explain it again.

I went for a second opinion. He wouldn’t look me in my eye, didn’t answer any questions or provide any guidance, he didn’t perform any independent analysis or differential diagnosis. Even though I’m at my deductible, I have still called my insurance and instructed them not to pay for this appointment. He adds zero value and answers questions with vague responses. I’ve been a patient at COPC for 20 years, I’m ca cancer survivor, and I’ve seen my share of doctors. This one is the worst.

Caring. Informative. Listens. Says so when doesn’t know the answer.

I am a new patient - referred To Dr. Bhasin by my primary care doctor. I felt valued in the time Dr. Bhasin took in asking me specific questions and in providing guidance and direction on my care. Dr. Bhasin explained completely, listened to my questions and answered making sure I understood, he suggested education classes to get me back on track and I felt he is working with me to improve my health. I feel he made it clear that I have a role in my managing my diet and exercise as well as logging my readings and following up with dentist, optometrist, and doctor appointments - that together we would manage my care. Thorough medical treatment and documentation to support the care he provided which I appreciate. I left knowing what the plan was to care for me, any medication changes, what to expect, what to do, when my next appointment is and I left feeling confident. He does spend time typing into the computer but he made time to talk directly to me as well. With all the patients and… the need to keep documented records these days I am pleased with the detail that he included in my record and in providing me a copy it is helpful in remembering everything we discussed - also would be helpful to share if you have questions later or need to explain to a caregiver.
