Ron Ben-Meir, D.O., is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and fellowship-trained in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine. He specializes in sports-related injuries affecting highly competitive athletes and weekend warriors alike, as well as general musculoskeletal pain. Skilled in the latest in non-surgical interventional technique to treat neck and back pain, Dr. Ben-Meir also performs diagnostic procedures such as musculoskeletal ultrasound and electromyography to better evaluate sources of muscle and nerve related pain. Dr. Ben-Meir focuses his practice on the comprehensive treatment of patients with sports injuries and acute or chronic pain. Patients receive individualized treatment plan that may include options such as physical therapy, medications, yoga, chiropractic, acupuncture and targeted injections using ultrasound or fluoroscopy.

Dr BenMeir had been my pain management doctor for at least 5 years. He was always caring, took the time to listen to my complaints and concerns and did his best to help me manage my pain to the best of his ability. He gave me 100% of himself. His move which took him out of Hoboken made it difficult for me to continue seeing him. It was a high loss for me. Wendy Muguerza... I miss him dearly.

I’ve had muscle spasms which I’ve gotten injections to treat about every 3 months for 6 years from a different doctor in Manhattan. Doc Ben-Meir took a new very wholelistic approach which I like much better. I’m feeling like there’s hope again. He also has a great bedside manner.

Being new to this area, I was very fortunate to find Dr. Ben-Meir so close to home. He was very attentive to all of my questions and concerns. I highly recommend Ben-Meir to anyone looking for an intelligent, and caring doctor.

Dr Ben-Meir is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I have suffered from chronic pain for several years now trying out different physicians and they have all failed me. I am so happy I was recommended by one of my friends to go see Dr. Ben- Meir at the Spine and Sports Center. My pain has decreased from an 8 to about a 2 and he is confident I will be back to 100% in no time!!! His demeanor instantly made me trust him as a doctor. He listened carefully and explained thoroughly where he thought my pain was coming from. His staff is also very professional and always accommodates appointments to fit my busy work schedule. I highly recommend Dr. Ben-Meir !!!

This doctor's office very misleading! They assured me that they were in-network with my insurance company and that they accepted my insurance. They did not, and I received a bill for $410 for a regular doctor's visit. It also took over 2 weeks for them to schedule an MRI, and I kept having to follow up with them so they would stay on top of it. I ended up going with New York Presbyterian Hospital - a world of a difference and so much more professional! So, while the doctor has a nice bedside manner and is knowledgable, save yourself the grief and go to a larger institution that KNOWS how to manage an office.
