This Dr criplled and disfigured me 2 times in a row weeks apart had to have 3rd knee to try and correct his carnage he abandoned me and im criplled rest of my life from this man

Hip resurfacing performed in 2011-This so called "surgeon" tosses all patient concerns out the window to satisfy his inflated ego. Never did he provide any advisements or cautions regarding the known issues of a metal on metal prosthesis issues vs. a full hip replacement. Complications started immediately following surgery and had been endless due to this botched surgery procedure and the prosthesis utilized. Popping and clicking in the joint, elevated chromium/cobalt levels, misaligned prosthesis femoral ball shaft, femoral ball not secured fully, constant pain and discomfort, numerous orthopedic visits, radiology specialist visits, and x-rays monitoring the movement of the prosthesis shaft. My current orthopedic surgeon, formally a peer of Dr. James, informed me that he has never performed a resurfacing procedure as the full hip replacement is much more effective and lacks the metal on metal contact. After, just 8 years the femoral ball shaft shifted significantly and penetrated the… femur bone and was exposed due to the improper placement by Dr. James causing significant pain and discomfort. A complicated full revision surgery had to be performed. Also, I suspect Dr. James was well aware of the metal on metal prosthesis issues due to the published recalls of similar prosthetic devices but never discussed those issues with me. The prosthesis utilized in my hip resurfacing, unknown to me until recently, was recalled four years ago. Find another surgeon so that you don't have to suffer endlessly due to the shoddy work of this "surgeon."

Put my knee in sideways. 4 years later. Lots of complications. The process was extremely unprofessional many warning signs. I was in pain from a bad knee and made the bad decision to have this guy do the operation. See Google review from my partner.

First impressions are the strongest. Chronic issues with office communications & technological. Ex: Primary doctor processes the Pre-Surgery package successfully for patient needing surgery. Patient is verbally assured that information has been "Faxed" per requirements from Dr. James office. Weeks go by, so patient calls Surgery scheduling department to inquire if documents were received such as: EKG, Primary approval for surgery, etc.. Dr. James office employee states nothing has been received.? Take note, Patient is in pain and eagerly awaiting surgery. This "Ping pong" effect/affect goes on for 1 month until finally the documents are received. Unfortunately, months have passed beyond this additionally. Patient endures inflicted aggrivation & anxiety. When patient finally starts the process at Dr. James office, the patient is subjected to additional bureaucratical obstacles with a P.A. (Phycian Assistant) who is Unprepared, Disorganized, & lacks a good bedside manner. I'm… left feeling like chopped liver & just being used to over charge my insurance companies (Federal & State).? System Thinking needs to be applied within their Business process & Change Management (Human Audience) needs to be balanced symbioticly.

Run. Don't walk. That is, if you can run or walk. One star is far too generous for a practice that is well below the standard of care. What body part is being operated on? When does physical therapy start? Who provides orders to whom? How do other med practitioners in the community feel about this office? Where are the missing documents in their records? Why are they fabricated and altered? Why is the patient expected to self-orchestrate his/her own care? Does James regularly disregard reported symptoms? How often is there a denial for any culpability of a common surgical complication? Are med professionals able to contact the office via the phone option reserved for their use? Do the admin have a synced computer system? Is there a reason faxes are repeatedly requested when receipts are in the possession of the sender? Why is there a "scribe" in the exam room with an iPad who is purportedly inputting all of the pertinent info? Who are these trained physician's assistants asking the… reason for a [scheduled] post-op visit and the date of surgery? Are patients seen in a timely manner? Most important: How are the elderly treated? Dishonest, incompetent, no follow-through, disorganized, dispassionate, etc. I'm running out of room here ... if I could run. In fact, after a basic surgery almost one year ago, I still can't walk.

My father in law had knee replacement surgery. Dr James was very patient with him and answered all our questions. He is very compassionate and highly experienced. My father in law's recovery is exceptionally well and we are very happy. I highly recommend Dr. James.

He comes with great clinical reviews. He is very personable. The office if a nightmare. First visit was a two plus hour wait. Had a hip replacement. The office never ordered physical therapy, did not answer phones, return calls for 4 weeks. Lied about ordering physical therapy. Had to have a revision surgery. This year, a knee replacement. Problems getting physical therapy, more lies about them making requests for referrals/authorizations, etc. It goes on and on and is still an ongoing battle. Have never come across a more incompetent office staff and negligence in follow up care.
