Dr. Ronald Chio, MD

Dr. Chio totally ABANDONED me in a tremendous TIME OF NEED. I was a patient of Dr. Chio's for OVER 15 YEARS and considered him a FRIEND as well as my PCP DOCTOR. I recently moved to FLORIDA and had one of the packers steal one of my prescriptions (which also was a "controlled substance"). I had ONE REFILL left from Dr. Chio and the MAIL ORDER PHARMACY (EXPRESS SCRIPTS) and thought "no big deal, just order up the 90 day refill and all is well". Unfortunately, I found out it was TOO SOON to refill it and needed another THREE WEEKS to fill, unless Dr. Chio would SIMPLY CALL FOR AN OVERRIDE. He not only REFUSED TO DO THAT (PER HIS NURSE), but even REFUSED TO RETURN A SINGLE PHONE CALL (LEFT CLOSE TO DOZEN CALLS FOR HIM) with even an EXPLANATION OF WHY HE WAS REFUSING TO OVERRIDE THE EARLY RELEASE. After going through SERIOUS WITHDRAWALS and THREE STRAIGHT NIGHTS IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM, I got help from a local Dr. who came to my rescue and not only wrote a 21 day Rx but… convinced a local Pharmacist to process it. KUDOS to my new Doctor (who literally knew me for LESS THAN 24 HOURS) but took the ball and rammed it through in a SERIOUS TIME OF NEED. SHAME ON DR. CHIO FOR ABANDONING A LONG TIME AND EXTREMELY LOYAL PATIENT WHO WAS OBVIOUSLY IN A SERIOUS TIME OF NEED !!!!

Dr. Chio has been my primary care physician for approximately 13 years and has helped guide me through the various ailments that come with "middle age" and now into being a "senior" (just turned 65). He's always been available at a moment's notice and given sound medical advice. I have nothing but the BEST THINGS to say about Dr. Chio.

Dr.Chio has been my doctor for many years. Absolutely love him! He’s patient, caring, never rushes me, answers all my questions and is just an all around nice, compassionate doctor. I never have had a long wait to see him. When I need an appointment ASAP, they try their best to accommodate. I have been lucky enough to find the right doctor for me.

Dr. Chio is caring and patient. Would recommend him to anyone seeking a physician.

Wonderful Doctor! I never feel rushed or unimportant. Never have to wait very long, Office staff is great. Always returns phone calls and my needs i.e.., medication refills and questions are ALWAYS handled promptly.

I personally have never cared going to the Dr. but have had recent medical issues that I had to address. Dr. Chio is a great physician and listened to my concerns. He also asked questions that I normally wouldn't have thought to inquire about and goes above and beyond in my opinion. First Doctors that I have felt completely comfortable with.

When my PCP of 20 years passed away and I was referred to Dr. Chio. He cares for both my husband and I. We are retired medical professionals and very selective.Dr. Chio is knowledgable and thorough. He is personable and attentive. He is patient and caring. I trust him to give my husband and I the best of care.
