Horrible practitioner who banded me 6 times for hemorrhoids which the treatment then caused possibly irreparable damage. Before you or your loved one sees this person, please do a deep internet search about this fellows ethics and learn more about the type of real background exists.

Would not go back again. He seemed distracted and disinterested in me as a patient. Demasi spent more time talking to his nursing assistant with personal chit-chat than than to me.

Simply the best.

On Sept. 18. 2019 I went in for an endoscopy and colonoscopy at Charlotte Endoscopic Surgery Center in Punta Gorda. When I came out from sedation my front tooth was knocked out at the gum line and a nurse handed me my tooth in a plastic container. When I mentioned this to Dr. Demasi that my front tooth was missing he said I looked like I had gotten into a fight with Mike Tyson. He completely ignored my concern. I have filed with my medicare insurance company and KEPRO. I am now going to go to the medial board with my complaint I have to get a dental implant costing $7,000.00 and he has refused to help me with this bill. He said I have no legal rights. How can someone treat patients like this. He needs to be accountable for what he has done.

Worst doctor I have ever seen. No bedside manner, uncaring. Very unprofessional. Could care less about his patients. Needs his medical license revoked. You are just an insurance number to him.Doesn't know what he is doing nor does he care...THE WORST!

I am still fuming over paying more than $200 for a completely unnecessary and uncomfortable procedure ordered by Dr. DeMasi's nurse. I was there to have hemorrhoids removed. The nurse thought she saw something suspicious. Refusing to proceed, she told me to make an appointment for a colonoscopy even though I hadn't seen Dr. D nor had he seen me. My first sight of him was just before the procedure in the hospital, then briefly afterward when he told me no problem had been found. Of course not. I've now paid over $200 for nothing. Without him seeing me and with the nurse making the decisions, I consider Dr. DeMasi's behavior totally unethical.

I would not recommend Dr. Demasi. I went to him for a routine colonoscopy this morning. He never came to introduce himself, describe the procedure or ask if i had any questions before the procedure. Afterwards, I was told that I was to go to a waiting room with several other patients and that he would give us all our results together. Seriously??? What about the privacy act? I do not want to hear other people's results nor do I want them to hear mine. I understand that Dr. Demasi does up to 20 colonoscopy's a day. He had a very high copay. I really expected better service than what he offered. I will be looking for a different doctor next time.

Does not listen, when ask questions, does not pay attention, I have no confidence in him
