Best obgyn in Sarasota he delivered my twins back in 1999 they was 5.9and5.6 pounds 21 inc long and now they are 23 and they both are healthy as a horse and there 6.9 inc tall and 6.7 as for now love this man for his doctor's degree

I lost 2 baby’s under the care of his office and staff because my hypothyroidism was not taken seriously.??Among other issues that I seen wrong with the way the offices were being ran no accountability on personabality in these offices you see different nurses every visit and Rachel Stall is rude and incompetent when it comes to doing ultrasounds. Save yourself from all the crap that comes with Dr.Wayne Cohan and the crapy care he is running.

I have had 3 beautiful healthy children and 2 boys doctor Cohen did both of their circumcision and it wad perfect each time. He is wonderful caring and so is the staff.

Can not say enough to good things about dr Cohen

Dr. Cohen immediately puts you at ease. He is engaging, compassionate, competent and extremely dedicated. I have been under his care for seven years and have always received the best care. His office staff are also efficient and friendly.

Dr. Cohen was my gyn for about 2 years. He always was in too big of a hurry to listen to my health issues and it seems as though all he wants to do is make money and not give care to his patients. As I am sitting in the waiting room I feel like I am at the WIC office especially since the wait to see the doctor is always 1.5-2 hrs. I was having an issue and all he wanted was to do surgery (made money for him) however I went to get a second opinion and there were other treatments that are less invasive. His staff is always chit chatting and cursing with each other; seems as though they don't care that the patients have been in the waiting room for more than an hour. I would not recommend his office.

Dr. Cohen allowed my wife to suffer through Anemia for several months, all the while sending us to very expensive heart examinations, although my wife's heart was very healthy(thank God). My wife suffered from weakness, not even able to get out of bed, dizziness, server shortness of breath, and also from what felt like the onset of cerebral palsy(her face began to drop). After several months and about $4,000 in related bills, Dr. Cohen finally ordered the correct blood test and my wife received her much needed iron IV. She was better the next day and suffered needlessly for months. Dr. Cohen rushed us through every visit and did not take the time to listen and evaluate or needs. Nor did he listen to my wife's desires and try to accommodate her. Even worse, once she no longer felt safe for herself and the baby's life, we went to the ER at Sarasota Memorial. Dr. Cohen's associate Sullivan after hearing our complaints and fears for my wife's and the babies health simply said, "is that all… you came here for?" Maybe passing out and the onset of cerebral palsy doesn't mean much to him? Thank God my job required us to move to during the pregnancy and our baby was born healthy. Our birth doctor was appalled by the care we received and was truly a blessing. Although it was very stressful for us to move during the pregnancy it was truly the most fortunate thing. Maybe even worse than that was the fact that Cohen got uncomfortably close during visits, making my wife extremely uncomfortable with unnecessary touching. Also during waits to be seen they were conversations in the waiting room by other mothers about stabbings and shootings, not exactly a good environment, and the receptionist is one of the worst I have had to deal with in the recent long list of time spent in Doctor's offices. I would not recommend this office to anyone and I almost never post online, but I hope someone reads this and doesn't have to suffer what we went through. It is all to seldom now, that doctors seem to forget we are paying for a service and expect to get one.

My experience would have be good other than instances where I believe the OBs judgement were driven by financial considerations at the risk of health. I won't recommend

I would highly recommend this entire staff. This practice is amazing and very professional, proficient, and just plain kind. I could have never made it through my pregnancy with out this whole office. Dr. Cohen is an amazing Dr. He spent so much time with me and did research and spent the time even when he did not have it. He did an amazing job delivering my baby Girl. I can honestly say he is the best Dr.. He was such a blessing to me and my entire family.
