Wonderful experience at AAPECS. I had LASIK surgery and my vision is now 20/20. AAPECS had the nicest staff and the best doctor. My surgery was so easy and it was unbelievable that Dr. Frenkel give me his personal cell phone number after surgery. Don't go anywhere else.

I had surgery in 1995, I was down to 20/400 in my left eye (legally blind) my vision returned within days of the sugery, and has been good since then. He asked if I to be slightly nearsighted, or farsighted, and got exactly what I asked for. I do wear glasses but a very mild prescription. I was treated very well, and am completely happy with the results.

I have been going to Dr Frenkel for many years. I have not had to have any eye surgery but I have had to see him several times through the years for eye infections. I have always gotten an appointment right away. 20 years ago my son has hit in the eye with a baseball during a game. He did follow up visits every morning for 2 weeks at his house before he went to the office. That's above and beyond what most Doctors would do.

After many calls and visits, 10 days after my surgery I still could not see so Dr. Frenkel referred me to a retina specialist. 3 months later I'm still seeing Specialists and learn blind spot will probably not disappear due to earlyeye pressure resulting in optic nerve damage. When I went for cataract surgery there were 10 of us scheduled every 15 minutes.I now hear his TV/radio ads and think his business is based on volume..not individualized patient care.

Dr. Frenkel conducted cataract surgery on my right eye in Jan. 2009. The wrong lense was put in my mistake on a Friday under anesthesia in the hospital. When he discovered the problem, the following Wednesday he replaced the lense with the correct lense in his office using no anesthesia. I was treated with steroids to no avail. I decided to go to another doctor and to this day (March 2010) I am still taking other steroids and my eye has still not healed. Whenever I am weaned off the steroids, my eyes become blood shot red, running and throbbing.
