Dr. Ronald Stanley Nadel, MD

As a former patient of his, and willingly leaving his practice due to his horrible bedside manners and lack of empathy and concern, I am now writing on behalf of my elderly mother. She still insists on seeing him despite the fact his careless sloppy biopsies he has performed on her have wound her up in the ER on several occasions. Even hospital staff roll their eyes at the sounds of his name. Someone needs to tell this slack off doc that it’s time to hang up his practice..

This doctor is awful, he wants credit card over the phone 2 weeks in advance of performing any duties. Just awful, Stay clear

Arrogant and incompetent

He gave me cursory exam = mole check. As I was ready to leave, I asked him what this "poppyseed" tiny spot was on the bone under my eyebrown. He said "Oh, that's just a blackhead." I was almost at the door and he said: I can remove that for you. So, he just flipped it out in 5 seconds -- no alcohol, no nothing. I could have done it easily at home. He charged me $250.00!!!!! and said it was for DRAINAGE OF A SKIN ABSCESS. DRAINAGE!!!!! ABSCESS. I reported him to Medicare but they said they have to go by his coding. I want to report him to the Attorney General.

Very flip about my concern regarding a sore that bled and did not heal. I insisted having a biopsy while having removal for basal cell on thigh. Have a history of skin cancer several which he has treated. Told me he would biopsy but did it reluctantly. Results positive requireing a five hour surgery . Lacking in patient concern.

Stay away from this place! I saw this doctor a month or so ago. He did a cursory exam of moles (no problem). When he was finished, as I was learing, I showed him a tiny poppy-seed little dark spot on the bone under my eyebrow. It was not noticeable to anyone but I knew it was there. He looked it and said: Oh, that's just a blackhead. I was just sort of embarrassed by it, but knew it was nothing. He said: I can remove that for you. So he FLICKED it out with a quick motion -- quick and simple. I could have done it at home with a needle. When I got my bill, I was charged $165 for the mole inspection and, get this!!! $250 additional for DRAINAGE OF SKIN ABSCESS. DRAINAGE. I called the office and said there was a mistake. I just has a blackhead. She said she would refer it to the doctor. I called back 4 or 5 days later and the girl said Dr. Nadel isn't in the office to often but if he said it was an abscess, that was his opinion. I reported him to Medicare. I said it was a fraudulent… charge. It was a BLACKHEAD. They took down all the info and sent it to NED. Medicare said they have to take the "word" of the doctor, so why should we be vigilant about checking our charges, if no one cares. "Dr." Nadel should have retired long ago. NO blackhead drains. He didn't even use an alcohol wipe. It was NOT necessary. STAY away from him. This is the first negative review I have ever written about any doctor or any professional person, so believe me.

Did a very poor all body exam. Just looked me over with no special light. A lot of money for a 2 minute exam. Not pleased. Brushed off my questions

He was probably the worst doctor I have ever seen. He sat there, told me there was nothing he could do and then just walked out. I have been to many many doctors, and Dr. Nadel is the worst doctor I have ever seen. Getting an appointment? Easy. Because no one in their right mind would go to him. Absolutely the worst experience.
