Dr. Ronald Allan Rabin, MD

Dr Rabin has been wonderful and he goes out of his way to help patients get through the insurance barrier for mental health treatment and meds. While Autism/ASD is not listed as a specialty, Dr Rabin is on top of his game with this syndrome. He handles children as is fairly common, but he also understands the autistic high functioning adult and how to deal with the various comorbidities that come with it. I cannot recommend Dr Rabin highly enough. I can truly say he has been a lifesaver for me. It continues to be a challenging path, but Dr Rabin is there helping me every step.

Pain in the rear to get a non-urgent visit. You have to go through his secretary who takes days to get back to you. Sometimes you have to call multiple times to get through to her. But once you have an appointment hes a really amazing guy. Knows his stuff, goes over everything that has been going on with you and works hard to make you feel as close to 'normal' as possible. Some things to note, he doesn't take medicare and there is a free parking garage at his office should you need to escape a hailstorm(me at the last visit!). Hes a great guy and I would recommend him for everything from difficult autism to simple anxiety or adhd.

He didn't really listen to what I had to say, and as a result, I was not properly diagnosed.

He's an amazing doctor. He's the only child psychiatrist we found that both counseled and prescribed medication. He communicates clearly, on an age appropriate level. In addition, he gives my child a feeling of personal responsibility and self-confidence as well as the tools to give him control over his own development and personal growth.
