Dr. Ronald David Schechter, MD

Dr. Schechter saw my mother in the hospital and it was a horrible experience. He came into the room without reviewing any medical records by his own admission. He then began to make treatment recommendations. My Mother has a history of 4 brain stem strokes as well as A-Fib and he wanted to remove the anti-coagulants. When I questioned this treatment and objected to it, which is my right acting on my Mother’s behalf, he became agitated and hostile wanted to know where I went to medical school. Dr. Schechter proceeded to they yell at my 80 year old mother until he left the room. This is not the way a patient or their family should be treated. Very unprofessional!!

Dr. Schechter is among the best doctors in his field. I went to see him for a second opinion and I am pleased with my decision. He accurately diagnosed me and really spent a good amount of time explaining his rationale in an easy to understand manner. He is very knowledgeable and has an excellent bedside manner. The wait time was long but well worth it. Since seeing Dr. Schechter I have referred him to a number of friends and family and they were all equally impressed.
