Dr. Segura & Nurse Practitioner Jamie listen, care, diagnose & treat chronic& intractable pain. I have seen too many who blame pain on imagination or dismiss it as trivial. I have had great relief from various painful conditions & highly recommend them.

Openly racist country boy "doctor". News flash Ron: Just because your patients are white does not mean we want to hear staff is rude as he is unprofessional as they clearly follow his lead.

Ron made unwelcomed remarks about the appearance of nurses (to put it in G-rated terms) at Avala hospital on multiple occasions. I’m sure his female employees, and wife for that matter, wouldn’t be as impressed as he assumes his male patients are. What a disgrace to his profession!

Extremely unprofessional and emotionally immature little child man “doctor”, who loves to push pain pills, even when repeatedly rejected. Insults his staff, who are eager to express a very negative opinion about him, which is unsurprising. Go elsewhere or trust your well-being to this imbecile. Easy decision!!

I was a patient for 10 years missed ONE pill count due to my nephew being in a fatal car wreck in another state had newspaper clippings and obituary did not matter discharged me good dr otherwise but don’t not go even if they tell you it’s ok but I would do the same again my family is more important n there are other drs just had a good dr patient relationship I thought boy was I wrong

I met Dr. Segura many years ago. The end of that 1st appointment is etched in my mind. He actually asked if he could offer a hug, because he said, "I looked like I could use one." Anyone who has spent years with chronic medical issues knows it can be draining and YES , a hug and his expertise is what I needed. First you will be given an education on what is happening with you based on diagnostic testing and how he can help. I personally opted for injections. And no, I'm not lucky enough to have 100% relief. But with the help given through Dr. Segura and his staff, you will find many ways to get back that "quality of life" we all want. So, I've followed him from office to office, and will continue to do so. Thank you.

He is a very thorough doctor that cares about his patients. His NP Stephanie is great also.

The previous poor reviews are due to most staff & the overall philosophy of his former practice affiliation; NSPI. He has his own solo practice, now Segura Neuroscience. He is the best practicing pain medicine physician I have found through my >11 year torturous journey. I have been bullied, shamed, humiliated, deceived & would be dead without a few (VERY few) good MD's out there. Segura is one of the few good ones left who doesn't hate chronic pain victims who are dependent upon therapeutic opioids to survive otherwise unmanageable agony. He, of course, has his hands tied by the current climate of Uncle Sam dictating our meds & doses without concern for our best interests. He, however, will do his best for us. His staff are awesome as opposed to the often rude & cruel office staff of Neuroscience and Pain Institute now North Cypress Pain Institute. I was with Dr Domangue 1st then Segura so can attest to the validity of the poor reviews they deserve. But see Segura at his new office!… He is a great doctor.

Dr. Segura, is hands down the most caring, informed and patient doctor I have ever met. I have spent years seeing pain doctors that couldn't get me up and walking stright, intense pain with every step, numbness in my legs and feet, injections that did nothing. Neck & shoulder pain even after surgery. Dr. Segura ran some test, came up with a treatment plan and within 2 months of walking into his office (bent over at the waist) I was upright with the 1st step, 85% pain free, living a life! Best Doctor ever gave me my life back.
