Dr. Ronald Martin Spiegel, MD

He's an excellent doctor. I live in Bellevue and the extra drive time his worth every bit of it! He has taken wonderful care of my boys Cooper 4 since birth, and Tristan past 5 years! He listens, cares, gives up to date medical advice and even follows up!

Shortly after moving to the area I took my 9 month old to a well child appointment and was dissapointed with the experience. He told me that my older child (who was not there for a check up) had an infection on his nose from picking it. He said it was highly contagious and that if he didn't get it cleared up he could be kicked out of day care. I wasn't alarmed because I was sure it was just a scratch - and sure enough the tiny scab was gone in a day or two. He also spent a lot of time telling me why I should have my 9 month old on vitamins - the big reason was to make sure she was getting enough iron. But this was after they tested my child's iron and it was in a healthy range. When it was time to go over my 9 month old's physical and mental progression he was listing off things way beyond a normal 9 months old grasp. For example, he asked if my child was talking yet. And when I said no he seemed surprised and concerned. Then he went on to say that my child should be saying Mommy and… Daddy and other words soon. I felt like he was either completely out of touch for what a normal 9 month old is like, or he didn't know how old my child really was. Either way I was not impressed.

We've moved out of the area, but Dr Spiegel was always great with each of my kids- ages range from 7 to 3 yrs old. He also always took the time to explain any answers to questions I had.
