I have had bad experiences with dentists but he was completely different he was kind gentle he was the best if i ever need oral surgery again he is my go to guy i heal quickly no complication

I absolutely hate the dentist, but Dr. Staples has a very special way of making his patients feel comfortable and at ease. I got my wisdom teeth removed by him, and he made sure to answer any questions I had as well as ease any anxiety I had about the surgery and being at the dentist in general, even cracking a few jokes along the way. I definitely recommend him!

When my teenage daughter needed to have her wisdom teeth removed, we were referred to Dr. Staples. My wife, my daughter and I met with Dr. Staples a couple of weeks ahead of the scheduled procedure. He thoroughly explained the process to us, reviewed her x-rays, and showed us the medical condition that needed to be addresses. His detailed, professional consultation helped to ease any concerns that we had about putting our daughter to sleep under anesthesia. Dr. Staples reviewed with us the alternatives, such as local versus full anesthesia, as well as the positives and contraindications associated with that kind of surgical procedure. He was knowledgeable, competent, patient and professional. He gave us a tour of the facilities and the surgical room in which the process would be performed. We left his facilities and him feeling that our daughter would be in capable and caring hands. When we returned to have the procedure performed, our daughter was at ease and confident that… she would be taken great care of. After the process began, we sat in the lovely office setting waiting without any anxiety because Dr. Staples and his staff did an excellent job putting us at ease. Dr. Staples' staff kept us informed of the progress being made and how well our daughter was tolerating it. When the surgery concluded, we were greeted by Dr. Staples who explained that the process was a success. We were reunited with our daughter and he and his staff helped us her to understand how long it would take or her to recovery. Within 24 hours of completing the surgery, Dr. Staples personally called us to check on our daughter and his patient. Her recovery was without any complications and we were happy that we had entrusted our only child to the skillful and caring hands of Dr. Staples. I would personally recommend Dr. Staples to anyone in need of oral surgery. He is simply the best there is!!! James

Dr. Ronald C. Staples, is the best Oral Surgical Dentist. I've had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled at one time . I didn't experience any problems ,or pain during or afterward my surgery . The staff was very nice, polite, helpful ,and professionl along with Dr. Staples. The office was very clean ,and the wait time is approximately 30 minutes. I recently had a appoitment on Monday he took my x-rays ,and again tooth pulled no problem. The staff and Dr. Staples again showed a tremendous amount of good service. If you are looking for a good Oral Surgeon ,Dr. Ronald C. Staples, is who I suggest . Thank You Dr. Staples and Staff.

I really had a great experience with Dr . Ronald Staples . Very personal and made me feel very comfortable about my procedure . I had 7 tooth pulled at one time and after it was all settle and done he remain to keep a smile on my face . I recommend him to anyone . He is Very nice and genuine and his crew is the same way . I really think in my opinion that he is the best oral sergeant in Memphis

I have never until now responded to a social media post concerning my practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS). Usually I abide by the Proverb “… when someone insults you it is a great virtue to ignore it”. However, due to the extreme negativity of this posts I feel compelled to respond. I have provided OMS services to the greater Memphis community for 25 years. That would not be true if, thankfully, I didn’t have thousands of patients who had successful surgical outcomes. I routinely treat some of the more challenging cases in the region and have participated in the education of general dentists and oral surgeons who practice throughout the country. I would not have enjoyed such longevity if I was the “worst oral surgeon ever”. I truly regret that this patient had an unpleasant experience when she sought treatment with me. I offer my apologies to all of my patients, staff and referring doctors about this distasteful post. It is my desire that this patient find peace of… mind, happiness and satisfaction as she seeks further OMS services.

I decided to have all four pulled at the same time because i wanted to get it over with. I am healing well and am very satisfied with Dr. Staples work. I started to get pain around the third day and was able to reach them on a Sunday night. I would recommend this office to anyone needing oral surgery.

Worst oral surgeon ever. I scheduled an appointment for my husband to have a wisdom tooth extracted and called back at a later date prior to the appointment to talk to them and asked if they accepted his type of insurance and was advised that they did. They later called my husband a day prior to his appointment at the end of the business day and told him that they did not accept his plan. They are supposed to be a care credit doctor, but they told my husband that since they did not accept his insurance that his appointment would have to be "cash only." I called back to ask some questions but couldn't get through to anyone because it was already the end of the day. Somehow my husband managed to get through to someone who told him that they would still accept his care credit. So he went to the appointment today and after waiting for 2 hours straight, the oral surgeon's assistant (who is not the same general practice dentist who took the xrays and advised that he needed to have 1 of his… wisdom teeth pulled; this is only the surgeon) tried to talk my husband into having all of his wisdom teeth removed at that time on the basis of a probability that people sometimes run into issues with their wisdom teeth (not his individual probability since his other wisdom teeth are just fine), when removing the others was not medically necessary and when my husband went in with an appointment to have only 1 removed. Also, days prior to the appointment, I had my husband's general practice dentist email a copy of his xrays over. When my husband arrived to his appointment, they claimed that they had not received the xrays because their fax machine was down when I had dvised Dr. Staple's assistant that they would receive these via email. In a last minute effort to have xrays of my husband's teeth, they asked him leave their office and go next door to a general practice dentist to get some xrays done all over again. The oral surgeon's x-ray machine was down in office, so they literally had my husband leave and go elsewhere to take xrays while he should have been waiting in a waiting room for his surgery. They were also escorting other patients out to do the same. My question is why they didn't retrieve his xrays prior to the appointment rather than the hour of if they really had not received them. This facility is extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend it to anyone unless you prefer uncertainty regarding accepted insurance and payment methods, sometimes inaccurate and conflicting advice, long waits, ineffieciency, lack of consideration, and being pressured into having procedures performed that are not medically necessary.

Chipped one of my front tooth and didn’t remove the one in the back, that should have been part of the surgery....
