Dr. Ronald Stephen Stogryn, MD

So I owe a balance for a wart the doctor removed last year. I am the only person working in 6 member family so $100 is hard to come by at times. I made a small payment and rep took payment, left it at that no mention of setting up future payments. I get to my 10 appt and both girls at the front desk were rude about me barely making a payment. On top of that they argued that a wellness check and a follow up visit for meds could not be considered one in the same.... $100 dollars for one wart on eat. They can keep what they got because they are not getting another dime from me. New doctor will be found.

I scheduled an appointment as a new patient and was told they could see me that afternoon. The front desk girl was not very helpful and very unprofessional when she realized I was a new patient and told me she would have to reschedule bc they only see new patients in the morning. It was 345 in the afternoon on a Wednesday and there were no other patients in the waiting room for the 30 minutes I waited. I saw two patients leave while I was there. I didn’t understand why she was refusing medical service to me. All I needed was an antibiotic for an infection. Anyways, she just kept repeating that I’d have to reschedule or for me to go to an urgent care. I asked to talk to her clinic supervisor and she refused saying she left for the day so I told her I want to talk to someone else. She finally wrote down a number, handed it to me, shut her window, and closed her door. So I called the number and explained the situation to the daughter of one of the doctors. She was very helpful and… apologized and told me to hand my phone to the receptionist. The receptionist handed my phone back to me and handed me a clipboard of paperwork to complete. She was very condescending to me in how to fill it out. I am a teacher and part-time professor so her attitude towards me was not necessary. She kept asking me if I was on meds as if I was crazy. No, I’m not on any type of medication. I’m a very healthy 44 and see the doctor maybe once a year if I have a really bad cold. However, I took time off from work and drove 30 minutes to an appointment that WE had scheduled. Well I was seen that afternoon, but the nurse and nurse practitioner treated me as if I was crazy, too, and asked a few times if I was on meds and why I don’t have a medical history. I don’t know; should I be a sickly person at this point in my life? My only regret is not being able to meet Dr. Stogryn himself bc I researched him about six months ago and read all the great reviews. Now I’m going to be looking for a new doctor bc there is no way I can handle a disrespectful receptionist. She ruined it for me.

If you're looking for a family doctor that's intelligent, humble, has a good bedside manner look no further. Dr. Stogryn is the absolute best. He has so much patience with my three year old even when he's screaming from an ear infection. Somehow the Doc still makes him smile!

Dr. Stogryn has been taking care of my whole family for years. We drive into the city just to see him because he carefully listens to our aches and complaints. He takes time to explain things to us even so that my five year old can understand and is even wonderful with my Granny. If you're looking for a family doctor that actually cares about his patients, our whole family will tell you Dr. Stogryn is the best!

Dr. Stogryn has been taking care of my family for years. He never pushes us out the door without answering our questions. He remembers us and asks about my kids by name! Super smart with great bedside manner.

If you are looking for legitimate health care, this place is not for you. This place is a joke. It ended up costing me $185 for a 3 month prescription of blood pressure medication when I originally went in for a well woman exam. The story is too long and ridiculous to type out. Total scam!

Dr. Stogryn has the compassion and caring manner of doctors from a time gone by. His manner is genuine and he cares about the entire family as a whole. Patient and warm, he sets my doctor-phobic kids at ease. Worth the drive from across town! Love the evening availability too, no need to take off work or school for an appointment.

my overall experience with this office is okay, Dr Stogryn is a really great Dr. and listens very carefully to your needs, unfortunatley when i see another dr. in the sam eoffice i do not feel the same care from them. the waiting is a little long, and sometimes when you have to pay out of pocket, its ridiculous that i pay about 200.00 for the other dr to see me for under 5 minutes after waiting close to an hour. but overall hours are great and staff is courteous and appts. are always flexibile..

I feel like I've entered some sitcom alternate universe. A nice, knowledgable doctor AND a sharp, kind nurse AND friendly office staff??? And on top of all that, no rushed feeling?! A doc who answered all my questions, addressed all my concerns for my children, and treated us all as a family!?Where has this Doctor been hiding? I will be back for sure and will refer others. I went there because my son's regular doc was booked. I have found our new doctor!!! This place is awesome and Dr. Stogryn is kind, patient, competent, and overall wonderful. Major kudos to his staff, too . I am very impressed. I have raised three kids, and I'm in my late 30's. I've only met one other doc ever that was comparably awesome.
