Dr. Ronald Allen Stratton, DO

I recently did a telehealth visit with Dr. Stratton. I explained my symptoms, he examined my throat to rule out any other ailments, diagnosed me with acute sinusitis and prescribed an antibiotic. He was friendly, to the point, and got me on my way quickly. I have nothing negative to say. It was a quick telehealth appointment; exactly what I needed and expected. Very pleased. Antibiotic worked like a charm!

First virtual visit ever. Got right to the point. Would do again IF NEEDED.

unfortunately, i got connected to dr. stratton through cvs minute clinic for a virtual visit. he seemed friendly at first then quickly devolved into pushy/abrupt and not concerned AT ALL about the patient. why else do you become a doctor except to care for ….patients???? he asked the obligatory questions, checked the boxes he needed to legally check (he asked if i was allergic to any medications twice) but when i tried to interrupt with my symptoms, he kept cutting me off. prescribed me an antibiotic. at the end, i was able to sneak in ONE QUESTION- and he totally blew me off. and hung up. glad he can live off his 4 minute virtual visit money while he makes patients feel unseen and uncared for. i cried when he hung up on me. i’m so sick and now, on top of it, i feel disregarded. this guy needs to be looked into.

Rude! Kept cutting me off when I was trying to explain. Didn't even check anything yet wrote things in the record that I didn't say!!! I waited 2 hours to see an online Dr. I've never had such a horrible experience. The visit was only 4 minutes. He didn't seem to care at all. Very upset & still sick with no medication. Horrible bedside manner.

If I could give ZERO stars I would this doctor is rude dismissive quick to judge and simple doesnt have any patient care manor. He needs to be investigated.

Bad...just really bad. Very dismissive and unhelpful. IT is better to be face to face. They just don't seem to care online.

This doctor is an absolute joke. If you are genuinely sick and are forced to see this man through MinuteClinic then I am sorry for you! I have strep + flu and this man dismissed me saying that it’s not possible to have both. What a joke! I am in so much pain and I’ve been crying so much. This doctor needs to be reported! When I contacted the company he works for and they said they have no record of our interaction. This man is sloppy and a fraud!

I almost canceled my virtual appointment with this Dr. based on the negative reviews he's received. After reading the reviews I feel like they are a bit unjust and their complaints should be focused on their insurance companies and the type of negotiated arrangements they have with their approved Dr's. Most Dr's are part of a practice group, that has pre-negotiated rates with the insurance company (not sure if this Dr. does or doesn't). Dr's are also limited in treatments because they have to "Code" each diagnosis to align to the insurance companies and governments predefined list of ailments. Apologies for the soap box, but I hope it helps clear up some of the poor ratings that this Dr. and some other Dr's have. I had a great experience with this Dr. and he met all of my expectations by addressing the issues i was there to get diagnosed/treated.

I wanted to cry at how mean this guy was. I was in so much pain and called him via tele health. In the middle of me talking, he cuts me off and says “Bye, I’m cancelling this call.” and hangs up. I couldn’t believe it. So arrogant, and really sad that he can treat people this way.
