Dr. Ronald Merrill Tuttelman, MD

I was referred to this doctor to find out about masses on my ovaries, he was rude and quite a bully, he hates being asked questions and will demean you if you do ask. I got all the test and went to all the doctors he asked me to go to. Went back to him and he was horrid, he was in a mood, asking so many questions at one time not allowing me to answer, then got mad and said to my daughter, Open that door, called in his nurse and told her stand there and wait. He stared in again, I stated you wont listen. He said get out. I was mortified. I have 3 severe masses on my ovaries and not a young woman, my mother passed over ovaries cancer and I'm so upset over his care for my safety. This man is out of control. I hope that noone treats his wife or daughter for that matter like this. This doctor already has malpractice suits against him. Add another too the record.. stay far away.

Rude i was chosen for one of his hot list. Stay away if you know what is good for you

New to Fort Lauderdale I scheduled my annual exam with this Dr. I have two full grown children and have had many exams over the years. The breast exam was like nothing I have ever experienced. It took forever and he talked constantly about how normal his exam technique was as he literally massaged my breasts. It was most bizarre and I left feeling like I had been sexually assaulted. I never returned. Something is not OKAY with this guy.

Dr. Tuttelman's experience and medical prowess are evident in the care he provides for his patients each and every visit. From the onset, Dr. Tuttelman and his staff were willing to accommodate the busy schedules of a working mom and dad-to be. At each visit, Dr. Tuttelman spent quality time with me, taking time to explain important facts of each pregnancy milestone. He focused on matters of true medical necessity so I knew what was most important, but he was also willing to answer even the most obscure questions I asked. Most importantly, Dr. Tuttelman was there for my labor & delivery and oversaw my entire recovery. When going to the hospital, I didn't need to worry a new doctor was going to deliver my child. I had confidence knowing that Dr. Tuttelman and his extensive experience would be there to guide me through the process. At the end of the day, I knew I was more than a number in a waiting room or an insurance check to Dr. Tuttelman and his staff.

I was pregnant with twins and miscarried one of them. He told me I didn't have a chance in he** to bring the other baby to term. Hate to tell you jerk, my son is 14 years old and in perfect health. The staff is horrible. Tried to keep $300. They kept telling me they never got my referral. I told think they said that anymore after I faxed them 100 pages of the referral

He is amazing and wonderful

I just had my third baby with Dr T. While I'm happy to be done I will miss seeing him and his staff so often.This last baby was a surprise and it really threw us for a loop. I sat in his office for 45 minutes while he calmed me and my husband down.This is only one of many things that make him so special. During all three pregnancies, he always returns call, day AND night. He's had the same amazing staff for years. He is an excellent doctor and an exceptional person. Book early. He's the best.

I found Dr Tuttleman after seeing two other doctors. I'm sorry I didn't find him first. The first wanted to give me hormones and the second wanted to do an "open hysterectomy." Dr Tuttleman did my surgery with the robot. ONE night in the hospital, I only took Motrin for pain for a few days after I got home. I was driving after seven days. I felt well enough to return to work after two weeks but he asked me to give it three. He is VERY picky about his post surgery instructions and I now see why. You can barely see where my incisions are! You need to book a few weeks ahead and you do wait in his office but he is worth it. I thank god every day for this doctor!

I am in my third trimester and he stated thru his staff that he no longer wanted to see me as I missed two appts. I admit I missed those appts but to deny someone medical tx in their third trimester fully knowing it would be close to impossible to find another doctor willing to take pt in such a late stage of pregnancy is inhumane and terrible to do. I am in shock as I admired and loved this doctor.

The doctor and staff make me feel like I am family. They care about me and go the extra mile whenever it has been needed. Being a nurse myself, I find their caring especially beneficial.
