Dr.Morwessel has done multiple surgeries on my family members and we have all had excellent outcomes

Dr. Morwessel is a horrible surgeon. She told my husband that it would take 3 hours to do my total knee replacement and it ended up taking 9hours. She told me that I would be able to go back to work in 6 months and it's been over a year. I ended up loosing my job and my insurance. Her nurse Modarsha was the only one that really helped me. She help me apply for medcaid due to me not having insurance. I was told to come in 3 weeks ago but when I made it there the front desk girl told me that I couldn't be seen until I pay on my bill. I told her that I came in last week and paid. She didn't write it down and she was sorry. (Stupid) therefore she didn't see me. I have lost my job of her and the only one that tried to help me was her nurse Modarsha. I have lost almost everthing because of her. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone unless they are hard up.

Dr. Morwessel spends one on one time with patient in the office and she is very thorough. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Dr. Morwessel is very knowledgeable . I have had a total knee replacement and ankle ligament repair done by Dr. Morwessel & I do highly recommend her for any knee, ankle or shoulder injury . Dr . Morewessel & her staff are the best in Mobile!! Always there to listen about the injury, explain the injury & accurate diagnosis !!! Very confident Dr. Nurse Mordarshia Dr. Morewessel's nurse is very caring & knows what she is doing as well!! I totally recommend this Dr . & her staff!!

I should have known something was wrong with this doctor when she failed to run the correct test before operating. A simple 2hr surgery turned into 8hrs. Worst case scenario I would be down a week. I was down 6 months. I was left with Internal bleeding and MRSA. I had to have emergency surgery just to save my leg. I'm left with limited mobility in both legs. Scars that are only acceptable on Halloween and nerve damage. Wheel chair,Ortho boot, crutches, physical therapy and how could I forget psychotherapy . That sums up my experience.

Terrible outcomes. Orthopedic surgery should not take several hours.

I have gotten a complete run around with this Doctor. She does not listen to what I am telling her as far as my pain. She has had me on Ultram. I told her in detail how bad the injury has been hurting me. It interferes with my everyday activities, especially work. So, she reduced my "so called" pain medicine and didn't listen to my worries. I would NOT recommend her to anyone, and I will not see her anymore.

She took over 7 hours to do my total knee replacement and didn't do it right! Had to have it re-done 2 years later at the Andrews Institute in Pensacola.
