Dr. Rosemarie A Romain-Tyson, MD

Receptionist is terrible. Constant pressure to adhere to their schedule, and threatens medication to keep you coming in. Receptionist also claims to be a doctor, and makes idle threats.

Dr. Tyson is very eager to solve problems without over or under medicating. For years I have not been able to sleep. After a few tries she came up with the perfect combination of meds. Now I sleep like a baby for a solid 8 hours without being groggy. She's interested in my life making for great discussions.

Dr. Romain-Tyson's office staff is rude. For a psychiatrist's office they have little patience for people with problems. They seem to have had no training on how to deal with people. Dr. Romain-Tyson herself is unresponsive. Don't even think about using this doctor if you have problems with health insurance claims or authorizations. You might as well give up because she and her staff are of no help whatsoever.

I am so grateful my daughter is seeing Dr. Tyson. She is very intelligent and thorough. She listens patiently to the symptoms and challenges and changes the medication appropriately.

After sitting in the lobby for what feels like hours, she spending the least amount of time possible with you in her office. Her only interest seems to be writing scripts, and not listening to her patient. Once I am able to find another Dr. with flexible hours, Dr. Tyson is fired as my provider.

I've been a patient with Dr Tyson for over three years now. She's always been very nice and caring with me. I've never had a long wait time with her. When I do get back there to see her I don't feel rushed and she's always willing to listen to my thoughts and offers her feedback. I can only make Saturday appointments and I've never had a problem scheduling my next appointment before checking out.

The most non caring individual. You wait hours for a scheduled appointment. If you want to be beat down you found the person.

Ms. Tyson yelled at my son for asking the time of the appt. She told us both that we could leave if we were unhappy. I spent 10 mins calming her down so that we could get the prescription and leave. My son was in shock and did not understand why she was mad and yelling at him. The staff did not seems to care and hung up on me as I tried to explain the problem.
