Dr. Ross Frank Marchetta, MD

He did over six surgeries on me for endometriosis and caused so many adhesions that I live with catastrophic chronic pain! He is a vicious greedy monster!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Marchetta. He delivered my daughter 23 years ago, ever since then I've been a fan. I had a lot of problems with my pregnancy, had to get injections etc....he met me at his office on a Sunday to make sure I didn't miss a dose. His bedside manner is like no other, he listens and over the years has always taken the time to explain everything to me. He is a perfectionist and thats ok in my book! His patient is his #1 priority!

Dr. Marchetta is beyond excellent. He is a superb doctor. Thank you.

Let me start by saying that I never write online reviews, but I was compelled to write this after my last visit with Dr. Marchetta. I have seen him for years and couldn't think more highly of him. Having seen other doctors in the area, I can tell you that there is no one out there like him. He really takes his time with me, is extremely knowledgeable and always remembers the little details about me. He has helped me through some difficult and serious medical issues (including a recent one) in a smart, compassionate and thoughtful way. I really don't know what I would have done without him. My husband and I appreciate having a person like Dr. Marchetta as my doctor and happily have recommended him to many of my friends and family, who also feel the same. I have had several last minute visits with him, and they always squeeze me in, one reason why there's always a wait and a packed waiting room. It is well worth it. No one wants to see a doctor who isn't busy. He is a godsend.

Dr. Marchetta is a true genius. He never misses a beat. I sleep well knowing Dr. Marchetta has been thorough in his examination.

My experience with Dr. Ross Marchetta was less than desirable. He was late arriving to the office. He had me waiting, as a new patient, for about 45 minutes. He was discussing all of this follow up treatment and endometriosis. Are you kidding me?! How surgery happy can one doctor be. He was also berating and belittling his office staff. You can hear every word in the office through the walls. His staff is rude as well. I will not go back to him, EVER

Although the staff was very helpful and Marchetta was seemed knowledgeable he is horrible as a surgeon. He does not take the time to listen to his patients and always tries to rush you out the office. He completed robotic surgery to remove fibroids and I had nothing but problems. When I tried to tried to tell him about the complications he brushed it off and did not take the time to see what was really wrong. After 3 ER visits I found out that I had an obstructed bowel and it caused an error. This was all because of an error made in surgery. I ended up having emergency surgery. I will never use him again nor recommend to others.

Simply the best OBGYN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Impeccable bedside manner,very loving and caring. Great!

Dr Marchetta is not only rude and nasty but more importantly a horrible doctor. Performed several unnecessary surgical procedures that I did not need and surgery is always his first and only option. He did what he needed to do to make the most money not what I needed for my health and I have heard a lot of other people say the same thing. He is rude and condescending and treats the people in his office like garbage which I felt terrible about. I will never see him again but I should have learned that lesson a couple of years ago before I let him perform surgery on me that I did not need and has caused me more problems.

Dr. Ross Marchetta, MD Ob/Gyn is an outstanding doctor. Yes, the wait time is long but I have no problem waiting for an excellent doctor(that is why it is a long wait because he is in demand). There are times I have waited 10 mins, a few times an hour but overall usually max of 30 mins. It all depends on if he was a the hospital longer because of a baby or procedure. Or because of prior patients taking longer than the scheduled time. Once in a while, you will get a staff member who is having a bad day. In the 12 yrs that I have seen him (which has been a ton of appts), I have only heard him raise his voice to a staff member but it was obvious, they were not doing their job. That can happen at any place of business! He is VERY caring and passionate about what he does! I can say this based on he was the 8th doctor I went to between the age of 15 - 31 who finally believed that the pain I was experiencing was serious. The other doctors either said: I would outgrow it, put me on &… kept switching birth control pills, performed an unnecessary procedure, told me it was in my head and the topper, it is just part of being a women & get used to it. At age 31, it was 3 mo's before my wedding when I saw Dr. M. Just based on my symptoms, he said I have Endometriosis & I immediately went into surgery. Ended up being one of the worst cases ever seen. He said I had to try to get pregnant immediately and odds weren't good. We'll he was right about both as the fertility drugs (that I insisted on) only made my Endo worse. I saw a fertility specialist (Dr. Spritos) who determined that I had less than 5% ever getting pregnant, stopped my treatment and told me not to try it ever again. So we adopted. I have had 8 surgeries for my Endo (6 laps; 1 uterus/cervix removed; 1 ovaries removed). No he is not the kid of dr who will give you a procedure you don't need.... he does what is needed. With Endo, you have to have surgery as soon as it is realized, not 16 yrs later or you end of with the worst case scenario. I am a firm believer that it is worth the drive (I drive 40 mins one way) and wait to see an excellent doctor.... no matter what type of doctor you need! Same thing has happened for the top doctors my family & I see at the Clev Clinic... which I drive almost an hour just to see them.
