I love Dr. Desouza, she is so nice. She listen to me and gives me options for treatment. Her and her staff are alway's very nice.

I can't say enough about Dr. Desouza. She has a sooting presence, charming enthusiasm, and reassuring demeanor that immediately puts you at ease and makes you feel like you're being treated by an old friend who's eager to see you well. As a man, I was feeling very shy, as I've never been examined "down there" before and had to have some rather painful diagnostic exams due to an injury and was feeling quite nervous about the whole thing, but her professionalism and people skills made me feel instantly comfortable and reassured me that I was in excellent, very caring hands. She was the most attentive, informative, and compassionate doctor I have seen for anything in a very long time. I highly recommend her.

She does not do check ups regularly, she rides the insurance, and she is sloppy!

Dr. Desouza is the best doctor I have ever been treated by, she also has excellent bedside manner. She's kind, knowledgable, compassionate and genuinely cares about her patients. She has gone above and beyond her duties as just my urologist to make sure all my of my medical issues are being addressed. My other doctors who she stays in contact have all told me they are so impressed with the fact she calls them and initiative she takes. I highly highly recommend Dr Desouza!

After suffering a crushed urethra in an accident I went to Dr. Desouza. She explained to me my injury was very difficult to fix therefore I would have to wait for a specialist to assist her in the surgery. After numerous delays she finally performed my urethroplasty (unassisted by said specialist). My urethra scarred down immediately and she stated it was a very difficult surgery and it was very likely that this might happen. After this she proceded to waste more of my time by attempting 2 surgeries to clean scar tissue out of my urethra. After the fact I learned that the chances of success were slim and none trying to clean out this much scar tissue without a second urethroplasty. This was followed by two very painful experiences of having a wire shoved in my urethra in order to get the catheter back in after said surgeries failed. Not to mention over a year of general discomfort and urinary tract infections. On the last and final visit, after my final surgery with Dr.… Desouza, I was told by the staff I could attempt to take my catheter out to see if it worked but there wouldn't be anyone available to put the catheter back in if it failed. I was instructed I would have to go to the emergency room to have it reinserted. At this point I went to another Surgeon for a second opinion. After assessing the situation he stated it shouldn't be a problem to fix. Imagine my surprise after hearing for over a year how difficult my situation was. My new Urologist performed my second urethroplasty and I am back to normal. I made the mistake of sticking with the same healthcare system I was taken to after my accident. Don't make the same mistake I did. This is your life these people are dealing with. Make sure your surgeon is qualified to perform your surgery or you could end up spending an entire year of your life in misery for no reason.
