Dr. Rowland O Mbaoma, MD

On my last day of radiation I went in to see Dr. Mbaoma. I waited one hour in the waiting room before being placed in the exam room. Again another hour wait. He came in and glanced at my notes announcing to me that I was in need of more surgery because they didn't get all the cancer. I was in shock and asked if he was sure. Turns out he was wrong and didn't bother to read my chart thoroughly. He took my moment of being so relieved of being done to a moment of shear panic. This is the first time in my life that I've ever felt the need to write about an experience like this. I wouldn't want anyone else fighting cancer to have to experience what he did to me.

It has currently been over 7 weeks since a diagnosis of a very rare cancer. Mbaoma has yet to develop a treatment plan; he has yet to even explain anything about this cancer. His office incorrectly completed a referral delaying treatment even further. I would not trust him with anything, least of all a life.

he is a very good doctor takes care of your needs

Dr. Mbaoma was the 2nd doctor I sent my mother to, he found things that the first physician didn't find. His staff is wonderful and caring. Dr. Mbaoma took the time to sit down with my whole family and explain the diagnosis, the plan of action for treatment, side effects, dietary plan, and do's and don'ts of Moms cancer. He is very friendly, caring and has excellent bedside manner. I wish we could see him under better circumstances, but if you're looking for a highly intelligent oncologist in the NWI region, he is it.

Dr Mbaoma was our fathers oncologist. He is the reason my father is still alive today. Other oncologists in the area gave up on him and told us to put him in hospice. Not Dr. Mbaoma, he is not only knowledgeable, but he is also kind compassionate. Thank you for all you've done!!

Awful physician.

Dr, Mbaoma has excellent dedication, terrific bed side manner and was always professional. He followed up with my mother and took the best interest in her care while she was hospitalized. My mother even enjoyed his visits. I would like to thank Dr Mbaoma for always being honest when it was it was the hardest to be.
