Dr. Roxana Francisca Barad, MD

I never write reviews, but felt compelled to let other people know that Dr Roxana Barad has NO integrity. Who wants to work with a Provider that lies and that you cannot trust?? I went in for a consultation. My ONLY complaint of where I wanted improvement was my marionette lines. She put a TON of filler in my face. My under eyes were so lumpy, with too much product. I got 5 removals (Vitrase) and still had lumps! It was the worst experience!!! (When I went in for the removals she said that I requested optical.... something? Which I never heard of). I said - I most certainly did not. My under eyes and cheekbones - were always good. She lied, she was cold and she was very un-compassionate. I should of known by her other BAD reviews! Listen to me - I do not recommend her! This place is toxic! RUN!!!

I’ve been to see her several times. She looks more bizarre every time and is nonchalant about the swelling,scabbing and bruises on her own face. Her staff is delightful. Her skills are good, once she arrives. My average wait time has been 30+ minutes. She is very dismissive, even rude as she interrupts you mid-sentence to inform you that you have no ideas what you want or need and has no qualms about the fact that she’s clueless about the amount of money her recommendations cost. I doubt I’ll return.

So I went to her for Botox and she sold me on under eye "filler" total $680 for 14 units of Botox and 1 syringe of filler. It's over 2 weeks and I now have bags under my eyes worse than before! ( i never had bags before this.) I called and the office manger said that I cannot get a refund since I signed a consent and was provided a service. AND she said there are a lot of people that spend more than I on cosmetic procedures! So I said to me this is a lot of money and if it's not that much to you then refund the money for filler! I later received an email that she tried calling me on both home and cell and couldn't get through. Ok whatever. The office manager Kathy then emailed me and said she reviewed my chart and that Dr. Barad recommended an eye lid lift and for me to check my thyroid and I would not be getting a refund! I even emailed her a pic of the bags under my eyes 2 1/2 weeks after Botox and filler. I am livid!!

I always was uncomfortable when I visited her office because she was always trying to sell me something. (Even vitamins could be purchased at half the price elsewhere.) But it wasn't until I had cataract surgery that I was really upset with her. Firstly, she tried to sell me "Perfect Vision" that I couldn't afford; then I explained that I wanted to retain the type of vision that I had prior to cataracts. She ignored that request with the first surgery and proceeded to effect what she thought I should have. Then she tried to correct her error with the second surgery. That was totally unsuccessful. So now, after two cataract surgeries, I have far WORSE vision than before!
