Dr. Roxana A Rhodes, MD

The reviews written here are from years ago. Dr. Rhodes was a good doctor when I first began seeing her. However, over the years it seems this health care practice has gone downhill. Now you are required to pay a monthly deposit to keep her as your doctor. I wouldn't mind paying a monthly deposit if the money was worth it. It is almost impossible to get a hold of her. The waiting for results is way too long compared to other doctors I have visited. And it doesn't seem she cares for her patients the way she used to. I am urging my family to find another doctor!! Perfect example: My father-in-law is worried he has the beginning signs of Dementia. He can no longer find his way to places he has been going for 40 years. I even had an attorney call me and ask to have my father-in-law evaluated and checked for the beginning signs of dementia. When he saw Dr. Rhodes she said it might be a vitamin deficiency!! Why would you not refer to him a neurologist? Dr. Rhodes was great,… but now I think it is time to retire!!!!

My wife and I have received medical care from Dr. Rhodes for many years. She is highly competent and thorough. She is easy to get in touch with, responds quickly, listens well and communicates clearly.

Dr Rhodes spent a lot of time with me going over preventative care as well as current treatment plans. I have not have gotten that level of comprehensive care from other primary care phyisicans.

Dr. Rhodes saw me as a last minute add on appointment due to severe allergy symptoms. I was thoroughly impressed by her efficiency, expertise and bedside manner. She was very confident with her proposed treatment plan which gave me optimism for my recovery. I would highly recommend her to any friend or family member.

I think Dr. Roxana Rhodes is terrific. Great analysis. Great rosy manner. Explains things well. Also expects patient to take charge on part of his/her own health. That's part of what Partners in Health(name of her practice) about and I walk two miles a day, don't smoke, keep to a reasonable weight, etc. to do my part. I don't find her excessive in referal to specialists. In fact, most recently, I pushed for a referral (to a dermotologist) despite her analysis that what I was concerned about was no problem. I can get an appointment on short notice, alm ost always worked in that day or the next. I find the nurse Amanda very helpful as well. Sometimes I'm on hold with the switchboard, and sometimes they take awhile to call. If it seems warranted to me, I phone again. It's a pleasure to have Dr. Rhodes as my primary care doctor. I recommend her strongly.

I had established myself as a patient with my own health insurance. I was rear ended and sitting in her office for an appt. when she found out I was in a car accident she told me to get dressed and leave. She walked out of the examining room. Extremely rude. I wouldnt recommend her to anyone.

Be sure to write a list and make sure you've covered everything at this visit. I have had problems with calling to get scripts and get them correct. I have a mail order service which provides three months of scripts. This saves me money, time and worry. Calling Dr. Rhodes office has been a nightmare. It has been a month and they still have not gotten it right ! ! ! This drives me crazy !!!
