Dr. Roy Oon Asta, MD

Worst human. Avoid at all costs. He will threaten you, and he will force drugs on you. He has no bedside manner. He has no idea how to treat people. He acts like he’s God. So gross.

Had nothing but excellent service from the receptionist to Dr Ron. Caring, compassionate and very professional. the nurse gets a bad rep but she has always been a pro with me, no issues with attitude or rudeness from her or the doctors. has always called my meds in, a little late but hs always called it in. Got me off opiates and back in control with my life. IF you truely are looking to get better and not use them as a drug source, these guys are great!!

Katina is a Brobdingnagian. She is selective in whom she calls back in terms of patients and personal calls. She’d rather take personal calls over patient calls. In emergency situations, she uses the excuse of not having any spaces to fit personnel in to fit to see Dr. Asta. How does Dr. Asta not see this as a problem? Emergencies?!!! It’s not him. It’s Katina. She possesses the power. Dr. Asta is obviously unaware. I don’t see how many complaints about her anchors her job. She is a terrible nurse and terrible at her job. Like all the other reviews, she is not only rude, but unprofessional and unscrupulous. Looking forward to NOT dealing with her! Katina possess the power, not Dr. Asta!

The receptionist....I believe her name is Katina/Catina is, hands-down, the most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with in any doctor's office anywhere. She's extremely rude and completely incompetent. I honestly don't see how Dr. Asta stays in business.

On my last visit my insurance kicked in. Go to the pharmacy to get my meds. because they didn't and they wouldn't do the authorization sents it was my last visit.i couldn't get my meds. I called them & the emergency line about this. They never would call me back. Even told emergency line person. I was bout relaps and do heron. Cause they wasn't getting the next 200 bucks they didn't care bout me. It's part of there job to do authorization for client meds. But sents it was my last visit and not to be back. They didn't care if I got my meds or if I relaps. . After 2yrs clean I relaps my last day under there care and had script and my insurance my meds free...

I was a patient of Dr. Asta's for several years. As I am healed now I look back thankful to him. He always told me emotional and mental healing takes work. Medicine is ONLY 50% the other 50% is focused work of the individual to tackle problems and learning coping skills. I walked around angry and blaming everyone and complaining about wrong medicine's until the "light" came on. I got focused and searched within. I went to see Dr. Asta serious about healing. It took a few years. Dr. Asta and I broke through the barriers. I had to admit of my emotional pain, let go of the victim role, express my anger and hurt, and learn to cope. I still have struggles we all do that is life! I focus now on coping and enjoying life. When I fall I get back up. When I am up I rejoice. The receptionist there does have a different type of style but that is everywhere and has nothing to do with personally handling your own growth and healing. There are people everywhere we do not like and if we let that… get us down, well your walk will be unfortunate. I enjoyed Dr. Asta. I am healed so far as medical care for mental health goes. Life struggles never end I just have confidence and courage now. I always had it I just peeled back the layers to let it shine. Yes, Christ was the answer for me. Whatever your answer is find it! Dr. Asta is a great psychiatrist but he is not a miracle worker, you have to want to get better. Whether that be a life walk with medicine because of your diagnosis or temporary medicine and psychiatrist, Either way you have to put in the work in order to get results. No receptionist or anyone else can interrupt or take that victory away from you. Give Dr. Asta a try but be serious about your own life and healing for he cannot work miracles you have to make that happen!! Dr. Asta THANK YOU!!!!!!

The receptionist is running practice into the ground. She acts like she is somebody important and is herself a DR. She screens all calls and determines if you need to speak with them at all. Phone calls never get returned. She is more concerned with her personal calls other than patient needs. She has argued with a pharmacist and come to find out she was wrong. Her mistakes cost me losing insurace coverage and at least $600 in prescription charges.

EXTREMELY RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL RECEPTIONIST!!! I WOULD NOT EVEN RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!
