Extremely unprofessional and rude nurse

I really like Dr. Barco, he has helped me alot. He explains everything very well. However I don't like his staff, very unprofessional, don't follow thu with calling in meds, making refer appointments, and calling you with test results.

Dr. Barco has the brains and a big heart which is hard to find in a doctor. He genuinely cares about each patient and wants the best health for them I’m speaking from a perspective how he treated me . Very professional!

He himself is a good Dr. He will take the time to find out what is going on with with you. I On the other hand his nurse he hired wanted to make sure I knew she was having a bad day and it didn't matter that I was the patient and sick. She told me the Dr was listening to me but yet wouldn't put him on the phone. She was accusing me of things I had not done. Receptionist is wonderful.

We were new to the area in search of a primary care doctor. Dr. Barco did not disappoint! He was very attentive, compassionate and knowledgable. He took the time to listen to us and gave us a say in our treatment plan. I highly recommend him to anybody looking for a doc!

I am extremely pleased with the quality of care that I receive at his practice. From the front office workers to nurses to Dr. Barco himself, they go above and beyond for their patients.

Barged in room confronting my husband and I about saying something awful about his nurse when I wasn’t even talking about his nurse but talking to my husband. I don’t speak to the nurses or physicians due to agoraphobia. He literally barged in the room and didn’t even ask what was going on but just confronted us with much unprofessionalism. We immediately left and will never recommend him to anyone despite him claiming he works with anxiety patients.

Dr. Barco is awesome! He spends a lot of time explaining things, and is very sharp. He uses common sense in his approaches. Words can't sum him up. Been seeing him for over a year for my chronic lower back pain. Have had 2 spinal fusions, and sometimes struggle to make it to work, or play with my 6 month old baby girl. His staff has always been polite, always. Thank you doc for helping me have a better quality of life! The multi-disciplinary approach is the way to go, at least for me. He is a rare doctor, and I wish him the best, and hope he stays in the shoals area.
