Dr. Roy Reynolds Clark, MD

My Mom went to Dr. Clark and so have I. He is kind, polite, patient and very thorough in examination. He takes time to listen to your concerns and does not shuffle you out like some doctors. I love him.

I’ve never seen such a disregard for compassion and professionalism

A doctor who forgot to read an emergency fax from the radiologist- cost my daughter her life.

I started seeing Dr. Clark when I developed female problems 9 years ago. He did enough testing that he told me about those problems and so much more. He found that I had a '"big, huge" fibroid tumor that needed removed. My PCP had found this tumor 2 years earlier, but told me it was "nothing to worry about". He also diagnosed that I was extremely anemic and had uncontrolled hypothyroidism. He said he was surprised I was vertical let alone driving and working. I wish my PCP had done that testing 15 years earlier when I started telling them I was excessively tired. Instead they first blamed it on chasing after two toddlers. Then, they blamed my age, I was 32-35 at the time!! I'm not sure what would have happened to me if Dr. Clark had not found these conditions so I could get them treated. Thank you, more than I can express, Dr. Clark!!

Dr. Clark helped me through a stressful high risk pregnancy with much care and compassion. He and the staff at Forbes were amazing.

Dr Clark has been my OBGYN for 20 years and 5 pregnancies. He truly cares about his patient. From the birth of my first child when he sat with my husband and I visiting and watching tv during early labor, through my post-childbearing years and appointments dealing with a post-multiple-pregnancy altered anatomy, he has been there for us. And full of compassion!

My wife recently had a miscarriage over the weekend. She was not a patient of Dr. Roy Clark but of Westmoreland OBGYN, however, Dr. Roy Clark was on call for her doctor. After my received blood work for the second time in 48 hours to determine if she was having a miscarriage or not, she left a message for Dr. Roy Clark to call her back with the results. This was a Sunday evening. Dr. Roy Clark returned my wife's phone call and informed her that there was nothing he could do for her because he was at home. He told her "I don't know what you want me to do for you. Our office opens tomorrow at 8 am." Beyond being anxious about the possibility of a miscarriage, my wife had also requested to know if they would need to see her the following day for an examination, as she does work and would need to make arrangements. As a matter of fact my wife and I both work together and arrive at work before Dr. Clark is out bed in the morning. We both needed to plan. Unfortunately, Dr. Roy Clark would… not provide any details and he was very callous with his response. Luckily, my wife was able to get in touch with the ER doctor she had seen over the weekend. He looked into the matter and returned her call to inform her of the miscarriage. It was devastating news for my wife and myself, on top of the grieving, we now had pent up anger over the unprofessional demeanor of Dr. Roy Clark. I hope anyone who reads this will think twice about using Westmoreland OBGYN.

Dr. Clark has been my OB/GYN for at least 7years now. He has been wonderful. My husband and I had a planned pregnancy which Dr. Clark was able to give us a lot of health information. When we had a miscarriage Dr. Clark was not only helpful and caring towards me he was very helpful with my husband. Dr. Clark (himself) called my twice after my surgery to make sure I was doing OK and also spoke with my husband. We later were able to have a healthy delivery and Dr. Clark was also there for us at that time.

Dr. Clark was great. At first I did not care for him to much but towards the end when things got ruff he was the best, I couln't of asked for a better doctor. i will deflintly be going back to Dr. Clark to delivery my furtue babies
