Dr. Roy Hamilton Thomas, MD

I was referred to Dr. R. Thomas by my primary care physician and might I add it was the best referral I have had in my 60+ years. I was not familiar with him or his staff so I was a bit reluctant, however, from the moment I walked in the door Linda and Julie at the front desk made me feel welcome and comfortable. Mia did the first eye exam and explained everything very clearly asking me if I had any questions or concerns. Lynn Dr. Thomas' nurse was awesome in explaining and answering all my questions. Dr. Thomas sat with my husband and me and went over all the test results and had pictures to show exactly where problems were and the procedure he recommended. He did both my cataract surgeries. Unfortunately, after the first eye I became very nauseated by the drops and he researched alternative drops that could be used to aid in my comfort. He insisted I was nausea free before scheduling my second eye. Anyone who is looking for a seasoned, knowledgeable ophthalmologist with a… caring, compassionate staff needs to give Dr. Thomas' office a call. I cannot say enough positive about my experience. Thank you to him and his entire staff for making a very big decision so comfortable.
