Both DMDs there are well above the average. Dare I say the best I know... They care, meaning it is obvious that dentistry is their calling. Scheduling: even when short staffed, they always try to fit you in. Skill: who am I to judge? I think it's some of the best. I have yet to experience any significant pain under their care. And result have always been noticeable. Usually I'm the one asking for LESS local anaesthesia; they always keep apologizing for hurting me, to the point that I'm the one feeling bad. I generally mumble "it's fine, just a pinch, you didnt hurt me, keep going". Shared decision-making: as a doctor i find this essential. They are clear in their recommendations, without being too pushy. When they insist it's because they believe that's what's right. Regardless, they work with you.

I'm not very fond of going to the dentist by any means, due to the one I was taken to as a child. But Dr. Abbott put me at ease. Very pleased with the results.

These people are the absolutely some of the best people and dentist I have ever met. They make me feel welcome and like part of the family. Up until the last few months I had not smiled willingly in over a decade. Dr Abbott and Dr. Abbott and every one at their office gave me back my smile. I am a victim of my own stupidity and traveled to a 3rd world country to get dental work done. While I lived through my own 3rd world country dental nightmare it left me with bad TMJ, horrible bridges/shoddy work and with a crippling fear of dental work and dentist to the point I almost let all of my remaining teeth rot out of my head. I was in constant pain and terrified at the very thought of seeing a dentist. I bounced from one dentist and oral surgeon to another becoming more discouraged and terrified with each visit. These are the only dentist/surgeons who treated me like a actual person, showed honest compassion and heart. I am not ashamed to say how hard this process has been for… me or how scared I was. I searched long and hard to try and find a dentist who could put me to sleep without needing me to pawn everything I owned to at least begin to take me out of pain, for 9 years I suffered massive infections one after another all from failing and bad work I had done over seas. I ended up in the hospital on more than one occasion because of this. Every dentist/surgeon I saw gave me this overwhelming unrealistic figure and dooming forecast on my wellbeing but refused to try and help me set up a game plan. It was all or nothing. Dr. Abbott and Dr. Abbott are the first and ONLY dentist/surgeon I have ever seen who understood we are not all millionaires, understood that I was a living breathing person with fears and feelings, who knew that NO ONE could realistically be asked to tackle every problem I had all at once. These people took my overwhelming fear and pain and helped me manage it and after a couple years have even gotten to the point of restoring things instead of stopping things from getting worse. Dental work is expensive and can be overwhelming in many aspects. Do yourself a favor and if you need to see a dentist/oral surgeon then see Dr. Abbott and Abbott in Hudson where you are treated like a person and not a paycheck or down payment to a new Mercedes.

Dr. Abbotts is excellent at what she does. She is very caring and attentive to patients. Her down-to-earth personality and friendliness always soothe my fright of dentistry.

Dr. Abbott told me that I needed a root canal (I had no pain) and I went to a root canal specialist for a second opinion. He said that I didn't need a root canal at all and he actually guessed the name of the dishonest dentist!!!

Excellent experience
