Dr. Ruby M C Simpkins, MD

It's now been 24 days since my first visit with Dr. Simpkins. After my lab results showed unusually high levels of Triglycerides and low HDL, I never heard any advisory from her office. When I emailed them, the nurse replied, "sorry we made a mistake in not contacting you and we will soon." They still have not!! Oh wait, I still do not have any news about the few specialist appointments the nurse was supposed to make for me. When I call, their usual answer is "we are working on them. Thank you for your patience!" Meanwhile, a couple of my symptoms could prove to be life-threatening due to poor quality care of this doctor and her incompetent staff.

I agree with the review which discusses the rudeness of this office. I will never return as well.

Horrible Experience!!! The receptionist, Heather is the rudist and most unprofessional person I ever met! She demanded a $25.00 co-pay and told me if I didn't pay it that the doctore would refuse services!! Even though Aetna contacted Heather directly she still demanded that $25.00 that I didn't owe. Apparently this is happening a lot with doctors offices prevenative care. Under the new heathcare reform insurance companies pay 100%. Co-pay is included in that 100%. To say the least I will not return to that office!!!

I just went in for my yearly and now the best woman to hit Ruby's office (Stephany) is gone. First Sand, now Stephany. Going to this office and being treated like a human being...in fact a great and special human being was the best part of my year. I am deeply disappointed. Not at all the same feeling or treatment.

I am a patient of Dr.Simpkins for years, I havent been in for awhile, but when I came back and to my surprise, "Sand is Gone" the best Medical Assistant Ive ever known. She was on top of everything made everyone feel comfortable in any situation. Her smile and laugh was one of her strongest trait. She handle everything, the office was strong while she was there, I was sadden to see that she was gone... What a fool Ruby was to let her go, I know alot of patients stayed there because of her and only her. If anyone reads this and knows where Sand is please reply we need to find her, and go to the office she works at.Missing Sand!!!!!!

I love Dr. Simpkins. Here is a physician who truly cares about her patients and will work with you take corrective action. She has a dietician on staff, and Dr. Simpkins herself is a certified MD acupuncturist (there are very few of these). Her nursing and front-office staff are extremely friendly and helpful. This woman will diagnose you and tell you in no uncertain terms what needs to be done. But then she will work with you and help you to meet your personal health goals. I just hope that she never retires!

The front office woman is the most amazing I have seen in all of my years with so many visits to doctors. I have several chronic conditions and am elderly. I am able to get an appointment quickly when I need to, and when I come in I am treated like a king. A month ago when I came in it was rather serious. This front office lady called and checked on me at 6 at night. I am impressed.

The office manager Stephani is stellar in every way. I pray she stays unlike some of the others. Her follow up and kind nature are not found these days.

I have been seen this doctor for many years and have learned to use the web and wanted to write the front manager Stephany seems to be the only one who cares at this office. I was left in the exam room for 40 minutes and the only one who checked to see if I was alright was Stephany. The Dr. is not who she used to be it seems and niether is the back office. I will sadly have to go elsewhere,

My experience with her started out pleasant enough but went downhill fast. They constantly lost reports and she wouldn't call back with Repoerts from labs or Radiology. The patient has to do all the leg work and maybe you mightget a call back from the nurse. Don't waste your time.
