She knows nothing about treating central hypothyroidism and she refused to refer me to a pituitary specialist or consult with one.

Frankly, I felt abused. I have a permanent case of hypopituitarism caused by a head injury when I was 12 years old. I had asked Baylor to allow me to see a pituitary specialist. I have a good PPO insurance plan. The schedulers only allowed me to see Dr Gaba, who was not a pituitary specialist. Dr Gaba would not refer me to a pituitary specialist, nor would she consult with one. As a result, I was left severely undermedicated on thyroid medications for central hypothyroidism and failed to receive growth hormone replacement for my growth hormone deficiency. I would not recommend her nor would I recommend Baylor for pituitary care.

Dr Gaba was very professional and knowledgeable. Loved the fact that she took time to hear me out patiently and and answer all my questions. She is one of the best physicians around and I trust her completely with my health.

She does not care about patients. Ruchi rescheduled my appointment without giving prior notice. During the meeting, she ignored my questions and rush me through the door.
