I love, love Dr. Flowers, she's been treating my disabled son for 17 years very professional, personal & knowledgeable she treats your kids as if they where her own!!!!!! And I just love her for that.

Dr. Flowers and her staff of doctors are outstanding when it comes to the care and concern that is exemplified when they examine your child. However, the uninformed, rude administrative staff will eventually be the downfall of this office. My children have been at South Dekalb Pediatrics for over 13 years now and the admin staff have been very unprofessional on numerous occasions, but I did not want to leave because I like the doctors. But today, the doctors no longer matter. I am in the process right now of finding a new Pediatrician because I will not spend my hard earned dollars not one more day at this office. Here is why; today, I called to make an appointment for my son at S. Dekalb Pedaitric. He needs the second series of the Hep A shot before he travels to S. Africa next month with his school. The staff member who answered the phone stated they did not have the shot, so I asked when would they be placing an order so that I can make the appointment around that time. She could… not give me any information on when they would have the shot in the office to make the appt. She said they cannot gurantee any shot will ever be available. I asked well how am I supposed to get the shot for him? She then said I have to come in the offie and basically hope that they have the shot that day. (HUH?) She also consulted with the Office Manager who said the same thing. So I am supposed to take off of my job, pay for this office visit, and hope that you have the shot in the office that day, and if not, I have to schedule another appointment to come back for a day, where even then, you can't gurantee you will have it this day either? This is just one of many examples of unprofessional antics that we have had to deal with over the years, but this is the last straw. I always wonder if Dr. Flowers has any clue that her office is being run this way!! Good Luck to anyone who tries this office!

Dr. Flowers and her staff cares for a lot of our sickle cell patients and I have heard some great things about her. My children has never seen her but I have always been satisfied with the other doctors and nurse Practitioners. The staff is professional and shows genuine concern. I highly recommend this office for any children seeking a new primary doctor.
