Dr. Rupa Lekh Nanavati, MD

Dr Navarro does not listen to patients, is condescending and obnoxious. Tried to tell me I had a 15 day migraine and despite headaches for 7 years post cerebral venous sinus thrombosis, she refused to consider other doctors differential diagnoses. She feels she is above patients and simply does not listen to use critical thinking skills. After my visit with her I saw a neurosurgeon outside of Kaiserwho was able immediate know what the issue was and was the first person to make sense in 7 years. Avoid this Dr because she is a waste of time.

I saw her twice at Kaiser and filed grievances against her both times. She is cold, condescending, and fights you for any test or referral. I fired her today and wish I had done earlier. There are other KP neurologists. Run!

My cardiologist wrote me a referral to see Dr Rupa L Nanavati as a result of a POTS diagnosis. Rupa did not review my chart prior to her entering the room, I had to go over all of my symptoms and months of diagnoses/dr visits with her. She did not seem knowledgeable about what POTS was. Additionally she was not particularly kind and at the end of the visit diagnosed me with an incorrect diagnosis. It was a waste of my time and resources going to Rupa L. Nanavati.

We have been seeing her for my mother's Parkinson's and Dementia and she listens and is caring and compassionate. She takes her time. I think she understands what it's like to be the caregiver also.
