Dr. Rupal Deepak Parikh, MD

Dr Parikh is a horrible doctor and an even worse human being. I ve been going to her since I was an infant. I ve never liked her but my parents didn t want to have to find a new doctor. I recently went in because I ve been showing symptoms of lyme disease (and I ve also been bitten by 2 ticks that I know of recently) so I got a blood test which came back positive and she made me wait a month to get another blood test done just to make sure it was positive. Meanwhile in the past month I ve been in pain and extremely exhausted. When I went in to see her she told me that I didn t actually have any symptoms because I was just being an adolescent. Last time I checked the average teenager doesn t fall asleep at the dinner table, feel too exhausted to even hang out with friends, or feel in pain every time they move. There s obviously something wrong with me but she s too full of herself to see it. All she cares about is $$$$$ and will make sure you come and see her as many times as possible… before actually treating you. And even then half the time she doesn t treat you. I can remember once when I was younger I came in with a sore throat, pain in my ears, and a constant cough. She took one look at me and said I had the common cold. A week later I came back because I was still too sick to go to school and one of the other doctors made sure a nurse checked me for strep. Turned out I not only had strep but I also had an ear infection and sinus infection. If Parikh had just taken the time to listen to my symptoms she would ve realized it was worse than the common cold.

Dr. Parikh can/should handle only the most simple physicals or colds. Anything else she either brushes off or misdiagnoses. My son had 2 separate conditions, over 2 years which she did not take seriously, both of which were later diagnosed and treated successfully by specialists. Luckily I followed my instinct to ask other professionals. Stay away for your child's benefit. simply go to any other pediatrician in the area!

Moving to this small town I expected doctor's to be warm. What I found with Dr. Parihk, is the complete opposite. Words cannot describe her. I gave her a chance, but she increasingly got worst. She is a rude, crass, mean, stressed, sarcastic, doctor who seems to have been picked up from a farm veterinary school. She doesn't answer questions, she only asks like a sargeant. She argues against your rights as a parent, and she punishes you if you don't agree. My children are terrified of her and after our last visit, you can bet, she will never come near my children again. She has misdiagnosed, and is a cold cold person with a false smile. I've heard the other doctor's in the office are good, although I never had a chance to meet them. She treats staff in a very disrespectul manner in front of patients and insults patients.
