Dr. Rupi is the very best doctor I have met. She provides affirming antiracist care to all people, including trans people. She is willing to advocate for you when you need medical care. She is also very humane and kind. She ever acts like she knows more and she never judges—she collaborates and supports. Dr. Rupinder Kaur Legha provides comprehensive and holistic medical approach in her psychiatric care. Dr. Legha also integrates anti-racist practices to ensure the social, historical and systemic factors of the patient’s life are considered in treatment development and diagnosing. Dr. Legha moves beyond “what’s wrong with you?’ To “what’s happening to you?” And uplifts the patient’s voice to ensure her patients receive quality uniformed care among their collective providers. Dr. Legha deeply cares for her patient as demonstrated by her personable, and genuine concern. My experience with Dr. Legha is that she listens to concerns, and invites the patient’s perspective and own wisdom into the session. Dr. Legha is highly knowledgeable, and also respects that patients are the experts of their lives, and are equal participants in their clinical care.
