Dr. Russell Hale Britton, MD

Excellent. Highly recommended.

Dr. Britton was my Pediatrician from birth....I stopped seeing him at 20. I am now 27 and in medical school myself nearby. In retrospect having been both his patient and seen patients with him I cannot say enough in support, he is an absolutely phenomenal doctor. Perhaps the only issue was that he was usually visibly a bit rushed, but that is primarily a problem with the healthcare system itself, the expectations placed on primary care docs by insurance companies are ridiculous and he was clearly doing the best he could with the limited time he had. If I had kids he would be the person I'd turn to immediately.

Dr. Britton did not respond to multiple attempts (over 2 months) to reach him regarding follow up from a child's visit. No response to phone calls or written correspondence. This is unacceptable.

We have had Dr. Britton as our children's physician since birth-he is wonderful, very caring, respects the parents and never treats your questions as stupid. Both my children, now 20 and 16, really like him. Both kids had, at differnent times, unusual conditions and problems and he really sought out the very best for them. He would call us on weekends if he found new information. He never seemed rushed and clearly just loves kids.
