Dr. Russell Clay Cantrell, MD

I went to Dr. Cantrell after getting hurt at work therefore I didn't have a choice who to go to. My experience here was good. I was treated with respect, he listened to my concerns and I felt like he was treating me the patient, and not the company I work for. He listened to my concerns and we talked about treatment options and outcomes. His exam was thorough and at no time did I feel like he was rushing me out of his office, quite the contrary. I respect his judgement and have to say my experience here was good.

Dr. Cantrell has the absolute best "bedside manner" of any physician I have seen. He took as much time as I needed to go over my issues, he listened to me and actually took action based on my complaints. His treatment approach is conservative and he tries his best to exhaust all possible treatment options prior to recommending invasive treatments. the issues I had been dealing with were long-standing and he was able to resolve them in a matter of months. I wish all physicians could be as attentive and intent on making sure you leave his practice with the peace of mind that you are on the road to improvement.

Please do not go here if your life depended on. I cant bend and he have release me, he said he will go see so can give me steroid injections and i was waiting in a room and his helper come and give me release papers, i asked if i can talk yo dr again and he said dr. Does not have anything else to say, I refused to sign papers. Do not go here.

I heard all the rumor of how workcomp sends you to Dr Cantrell so they can get you off workcomp. First time he was great did the Nobel thing and got the help I needed. So workcomp send me there again to treat one of the other problems that they would not get a special for and he saw me and was like I need your records. Now getting letter from my lawyer saw dr Cantrell wont see me due to getting mri back in Nov 2017. Hello you were supposed to be looking and taking care of something different not my prior stuff. This man is two face

Nothing but a worker comp hack doctor. Discharges people even though they’re still completely broke. Never takes any vitals, yet continually prescribes opioids to patients. Says he’s exhausted all diagnostic avenues, even though no MRI conducted. Someone needs to look into his medical license.

Dr. Cantrell is, by far, the most compassionate physician I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. He took the time to hear me out and listen to every issue I am dealing with. I didn't have the choice to pick which doctor to see as I had an injury at work and they got to select who I went to see. I feel lucky and blessed. Thank you for helping me feel better and get back to work.

SOAR MEDICAL Management for Dr Cantrell claim that this site allowed me to write derogatory reviews about Dr Cantrell, therefore, made it the reason for declining a one time evaluation giving by work comp Zurich Insurance.

My reviews for my experience with Dr Cantrell was anything but derogatory as stated by SOAR MEDICAL management for Dr Cantrell. I spoke no abusive, threatening, or vulgarities. I only presented facts that has not been disputed. Dr Cantrell was allowed to give another evaluation by work comp, Zurich Insurance and he decline. No doubt if his findings change from mental to physical as it should have been, he will be looked at in a different light.

Conplaints against Dr Cantrell's diagnosis verses medical images that shows cervical slip disc and lumbar slip disc and I remain injured lead Zurich Insurance Manager present a formal letter to allow Dr Cantrell to give a one-time evaluation. SOAR Management for Dr Russell, refused to see me because my complaints were said to be derogatory.

This is a follow up with the inhumane mistreatment I received from this doctor that was accepted by Zurich insurance as being Maximum Medical Recovery for a work comp claim. After months of complaints along with medical document, MRI, showing cause of injury NOW Zurich will allow this doctor to make a one-time evaluation. Will the acts of treatment be the same , which is to set up a way to derail further medical care and to mask their bogus Maximum Medical Recovery to stand as they said. I don't trust Zurich insurance or Russell C Cantrell.
