Dr. Mark A. Spinazze, DDS

Russell P. Spinazze, D.D.S. Meet Dr. Spinazze Dr. Spinazze joined the Associates for Oral, Maxillofacial, and Implant Surgery in 1997. He is a graduate of Barrington High School, Lawrence University and the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery specialty training at the University of Illinois-Chicago Medical Center and School of Dentistry in 1997. Dr. Spinazze maintained his affiliation with the University of Illinois-Chicago School of Dentistry. He has served on the teaching staff of the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery and has been active in administering the department’s annual mock board examination to its current residents. He has lectured on the national level, been active in research, and has been published in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is currently on staff at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, and Resurrection Medical …Center in Chicago. Dr. Spinazze became board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2000 and recertified in 2009. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthsiology. He is certified in both Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Dr. Spinazze’s clinical interests include dental implants and associated bone grafting procedures, dentoalveolar surgery including the removal of wisdom teeth, general anesthesia and IV sedation, preprosthetic surgery, exposure of impacted (buried) teeth for orthodontic purposes, dental and facial trauma, correction of facial deformities (orthognathic surgery), and oral pathology. He is married with three children.
