He told me he didn't need my business. Well, I guess I don't need his "services."

Dr. Swann is the best! When speaking to him, you can really get a sense of the care he has for his patients. He doesn't treat you like an assembly line, but a treatment line. I came to him for a revision due to the previous surgeon tearing my Patellar Tendon and damaging my Achilles Heel Tendon. I could not bend past 90 flexion, nor go up or down the stairs. I can now bend to 130 flexion. I'm waiting one more surgery to fix another issue and then have hope's of full recovery. I know I'm in good hands, but now need to be patient for next on list for surgery. He's scheduled out 12mths, but worth the wait. His P.A., Caleb is the best and his staff is very responsive. I would highly recommend Dr. Swann. Be realistic and patient and you'll be fine.

I had hamstring re-attachment surgery by Dr. Swann back in 2018. Never did think about writing a review until I needed his services again for a bum knee. Nonetheless, I found Dr. Swann to be very personable and professional from start to finish. My hamstring feels more stable than ever and I'm forever grateful for this good Doctor's skilled hands.

Dr. Swann was professional and thorough during my appointment. He explained what was happening from my previous hip replacement; not performed by him. He was clear on the steps forward. The scheduling and check in process went smooth. His staff has been responsive regarding my next steps. I feel confident that he will get me back to my active lifestyle. He restored my hope.

I had Dr Swann for a hip replacement back in 2019. The appointments I had with him prior to the surgery were fine, but he said that he might not be able to control my pain after the procedure because I had been taking opioid pain meds since I was in severe pain and had to wait 8 months to be approved for surgery. I thought he meant that the little amount of opioid pain meds given after surgery wouldn’t, but I was mistaken because he didn’t give me any painkillers afterwards! I had even weened myself off of the painkillers 3 weeks before thinking he would be able to treat the pain better with less medication, but no medication?! I still have PTSD thinking about the treatment I didn’t receive in the recovery room, to top it off him and another doctor associated with him refused to let my family members back to see me while the tried to pressure me to check out of the hospital since they get a bonus if you’re discharged early instead of the required overnight stay required by Medicare… and other insurers. So, since they never got on top of the pain and trying to get me to walk, even though the psoas block hadn’t worn off and I couldn’t lift my leg to walk, I couldn’t sleep because my pain wasn’t treated before I woke out of surgery. Even when pain management is clear on the subject of getting ahead of the pain because playing catch up doesn’t work. So, I ended up being kept awake all night long because my pain was never controlled. I ended up okay after the surgery, but what happened will stay with me for a lifetime.

I checked in as a new patient on-line making it easy and time saving at my appt. The associate at the front desk was kind, friendly and made me feel welcome immediately! I loved her smile putting me at ease. Dr. Swann’s Assistant was amazing, and I”ll put the X-ray Tech in the same category, amazing! I knew I was in good hands. When I met Dr. Swann he gave me confidence immediately that he was listening and understood my back problem. I was his patient and he wanted to help me, not just the next one in line. I feel confident he will find a resolution for me. I highly recommend Dr. Swann and his team for your orthopedic needs, I’m sure you will be feeling so much better, mentally and physically!

Dr. Swann gave me back my active life. After horse riding accident where I lost my knee cap, Dr. Swann replaced my knee and in 3 month I was riding my horse, doing my yoga and weights and walking my Golden. He gave me my active life back at 73yrs.

I love Dr. Swann and Caleb. They have taken such good care of me! It is four months after a total knee replacement, and I can hike over 5 miles, and I am losing weight. I have full range of motion and reflection, and I am improving more every day. I would not be where I am today without them. I was very nervous about getting this procedure done and had gone to several physicians to get opinions. I found myself so comfortable with Dr. Swann from the first time I met him. I also love the fact he uses robotics to ensure a great outcome. This helped me feel really comfortable! I would recommend anyone I knew or did not know to them as I think they are one of the best around!

Dr Swann & Caleb were wonderful throughout the whole process! I felt that they answered all of my questions and were very thorough when explaining the each step! I’m grateful to have found such a caring team to navigate my full hip replacement!

I had a revision knee surgery done by Dr. Swann. I was referred to him by my attorney Sean McCrary with Frank Azar’s office. The day of surgery he informed me that it was just a day surgery and I would be out in a few hours. I told him that I never do well after an operation and would need to be in the hospital longer. His retort was “we could cancel the surgery”. My husband talked to our insurance company and they approved another day for recovery. Following the surgery Dr. Swann told me that my knee joint fell out on the operating room floor and called the first surgery a "Botched job". He asked who did the original knee replacement. When I told him who did it Dr. Swann told me “no way… he’s my mentor”. This surgery was preformed because the Azar group solicited me for a class action suit. I was sent to Dr. Swann by McCrary. Every follow up visit after that was uncomfortable. My last visit was the worst. I had been to a different doctor since my experience with Dr.… Swann to have my other Knee replaced. Dr. Swann was upset and asked why I let another Doctor do the "easy knee". I told him that I used a different doctor because he was closer to my home. I don’t think he bought it. The reason I went to the other doctor is that I felt like an assembly line patient with Dr. Swann. He then got upset and exclaimed "My ball's are always perfect!" Referring to the replaced knee joint. Then he stormed out of the room. I left his office hoping not to ever hear from him again. This week I found out that his medical report of the operation said nothing about a "botched job". Just the opposite. Dr. Swann stated that the previous artificial knee joint falling out was due to "soft bone." He never said anything like that to me. Now after a two years wait for his mentor’s “botched job” to deny me a settlement in my class action suit I live in constant pain with no hope of relief.
