Dr. Ruth Gentry, PhD

A phenomenal mental health care provider: A physician who actually listens. Dr. Gentry provides an environment where I felt safe and able to open up and most importantly, trust. She is empathetic and expresses an exceptional level of compassion. I've been avoiding and then finally dealing with a lifelong condition that previous mental health providers were unable to make progress with me on. I've been seeing Dr Gentry for about 6 months and have found her to be extremely competent and caring. Her main focus is to help people suffering with chronic, and at times, severe pain find better ways to handle what can seem to be a hopeless situation. She has also helped me deal better with the major depression that I've developed over the course of time that I have tried to handle this illness by myself. Don't hesitate in choosing her to help you with your problem. She is a wonderful Doctor.
