Dr. Ruth Anne Hazen, MD

My children have been under the care of Dr. Hazen for 10 years. She has been a guiding light of knowledge. One of my children has very complex language based learning disorder and dyslexia/dyspraxia. She has been spot on with her physical exams, predictions for areas of struggle etc. I am in the medical field as well and so I understand and appreciate the depths of her knowledge. She frequently updates her medical education - She is not afraid to ruffle feathers to advocate for any child. She is not an alarmist. Callous is not the word to use. She's not going to get wrapped up or engage in drama though. I trust her explicitly. She is a developmental specialist. Best choice we ever made was to go to her office

I highly recommend Dr Hazen. She has helped us through 6 years of medical complexity. If your child has any sort of developmental delay Dr Hazen will provide exceptional support and direction. Leave your ego behind and let her help your child! I would recommend Dr. Hazen to my closest friends and wish she could be MY doctor too!

Dr. Hazen has been our pediatrician for many years. I have felt very comfortable discussing all medical concerns that have come up over the years. Her staff is professional and friendly. I would not hesitate recommending Dr. Hazen.

Dr.Hazen is very good at diagnosing, but her bedside manner is awful. She is extremely egotistical and not very patient with my child.

Dr. Hazen has been a wonderful pediatrician during our two years in Massachusetts: thorough, caring, very patient and very competent in diagnosis. She has always allowed us to ask all questions we had and express all of our concerns without rushing us through. Highly, highly recommended.

I think that she is a very callous woman and needs to retire.
