Dr. Ruth Alison Loomis, MD

We cant say enough good things to say about Dr. Loomis. She is an amazing pediatrician and we are so happy we switched offices and found her.

Love Dr. Loomis, but the staff behind the window could be a bit more curteous. We all have bad days, the members of the office staff need to remember to let it go or leave it at home and be more professional. There's a scared little kid with their parent coming to your office, you don't need to slam the window in our face, and while we're waiting for the Dr. I really don't want to hear about what occured at your place over the weekend. Just Sayin.

Dr Loomis refused to continue seeing my 2mth old baby because of my religious beliefs not to vaccinate. When we had our first visit we had explained that my husband and I were not going to vaccinate do to religious beliefs, she tried to scare us into vaccinating him. We said we would do some research and come back at the 2mth appointment with a final decision. When I went to the appointment and explained that we were still set on not vaccinating our son do to religious beliefs she said that she was no longer able to care for our new baby do to the fact that we would not be vaccinating him. Refusing to see a child do to parents religious beliefs is against the Hippocratic Oath that Drs take. Refusing to treat a child do to our religious beliefs also is a violation of our Constitutioal Rights, First Amendment clearly states the free exercise of religion. It is also discriminating against us because of our religious beliefs which the State Of Connecticut provides us with the Religious… Exemption. Also if a "Private Practice" accepts any form of state insurance or funds it is considered "state actors" and can not violate our First Amendment Right.

i have had this doctor for my daughter for 4 years now an she is awesome i jus had another baby 7 months ago she is like family an cares for you the as if you where ....
