Finally, a Sawbones who actually listens and has a sense of humor. He is willing to try a treatment and says that if I'm uncomfortable with it throw it out and we'll try something else. i've been seeing him for two years and he doesn't berate me about my lifestyle; "At your age I ain't going to change you, so I'll just try to manage the damage. Poetic, ain't it?" When we met on my first appointment, I told him that I could be a little rough on doctors. He replied, "Well I'll try to remember to not cry until I've left the room." That comment earned my respect for him and established us as equal partners in our relationship, as any doctor-patient connection should be. Doctor Alexander Gets It!

After giving this doctor 4 months notice that I was leaving the country for 6 months he then told me he didn't know how to handle my medicine and to ask other individuals. Then when it came time to move he fell off the face of the earth. I never spoke to this so called doctor for months and he never called me after multiple attempts made by his patient. He then chose to discharge me because he didn't want to help oand was done pretending to care. The entire process I spoke to office staff and nurses. Never once talked to the doctor. How can he discharge someone he never took the time to call and talk to? I am now left in England without care and without medicine. I cannot re eive any care over here due to not qualifying for their national health system so not one doctor here will help me. How inhumane and uncaring can this "doctor" be?!? It's a debilitating condition that leaves me unable to do most everyday things. I am a Christian mother of two young children. No… criminal background, no history of any illegal substance nor positive drug tests. I have never mistreated, cursed, belittled, or have ever been belligerent or violent. How can someone be so negligent, mean, and sleep at night knowing how much chronic pain and the suffering they've negligently inflicted on a patient and the repercussions it has on the family of the patient?
