Appointments were rushed, and he was astonishingly dismissive and invalidating of my concerns. He may fancy himself an advocate of women’s reproductive rights on his social media accounts, but it makes you wonder how genuine this is when his “advocacy” is limited to political hot topics and he treats women like they and their preferences for their own bodies are invalid when they’re being seen for reasons not related to birth control or sterilization procedures. I took a chance seeing him because it takes a lot longer to get in with most female OBGYNs and unfortunately my experience reinforced that it’s best I just stick with female doctors. The office’s billing department is also incredibly incompetent. If you’re going to require payment up front before billing insurance, you’d better know how to make sure the estimated costs you’re charging are accurate.
