Dr. Ryan Peter Denhaese, MD

I had back surgeon due to a lot of pain. Dr Denhaese said he felt surgery would ease it. It did not. I have the same level of pain a year later and have additional issues due to my long recovery. I now have pain in my neck and shoulders and left hip due to the recovery. None of this is his fault. Him and his staff are skilled and pleasant. I write this to warn others that back surgery can be ineffective, so think long and hard before making this decision.

When I questioned him about how hard it was to sleep and the pain I was in he yelled at me. He did not treat me very well at all because I had the right to disagree with what he told me. I have been in pain constantly since my surgeries and now my legs shoulder s and arms tingle and go numb. I want to see another neurosurgeon but because of his office my primary doctor said no one else will see me because he did the surgery. He did a poor job. He puts in a good front until you disagree with him. I pray I don’t end up in a wheelchair due to his negligence.

He always goes above and beyond to ensure he and his team are going the extra mile. I currently travel from the Midwest to be seen by Dr. DenHaese because he is the only one I trust for my condition. He’s just the best!

Wow! I can honestly say that Dr. DenHaese and his staff have dramatically improved my life! His treatment for my severe back pain was top notch, and he walked me through the process of healing in a way that normal people talk! He really took the time with me and I’m just so thankful!

I have had multiple back surgeries with several different doctors and Dr DenHaese is by far the best dr ever. Dr DenHaese did a 2 day surgery on my back that involved removing old hardware and putting in new hardware. On the second day he had to go in thru my side, deflating my lung, etc..., to put spacers etc. I was in ICU then on the floor then transferred to the rehab unit at the hospital there where the Dr checked on me. I was in a wheelchair prior to my surgery and am able to walk now. I still have some pain but nothing compared to prior to surgery. There were Dr’s that wouldn't touch me but Dr DenHaese was a miracle worker.

Dr DenHaese was excellent and I am in so much less pain post surgery. Thank you!

Dr. Dehaese is down to earth, funny and an excellent surgeon. Staff is awesome. Spent several years in pain and he has fixed that. Very happy! 100% recommend him. I had two cervical spine fusions.

On the day of my surgery I was was supposed to be operated on at noon. A after several call to the nurse my surgery never happened until 6:30 that evening. I was really skeptical at that time if I should still have the surgery done, but I felt I was here so let go. I got out at 10:30 that evening and was kinda rushed out of the hospital the next day. After the surgery I never saw dr. DenHaese. I only saw his PA. After 6 months I went back to see dr Dr. DenHaese and show him my X-rays. I am still in a lot of pain and he advised me he was sorry and to give it 6 more months to heal and come back to see him. That will be a whole year to heal and at this point am very disgusted with the outcome of the procedure. I think he tries to do to many surgeries in one day and if something happens it puts the next surgery in a position he has to rush and the outcome is not good.
