Dr. Ryan Thomas Frank, DO

Dr Frank has been my doctor for years. I feel he always listens and takes appropriate steps in my medical care. Maribel, his MA is on top of calls, messages and communicates back to me quickly as well! Love working with them and feel he's a true partner in my care. Dr Frank and the office staff get 5 stars! Ponderosa Family Med has a 3 strikes & you're out policy that gets 0 stars. I understand the need for this type of policy, but it needs revised. After 1-2 years, a missed appt should drop off. All it does is make people avoid going to the doctor for fear of missing an appt and getting kicked out of the practice. Additionally, missing an appt because of not being able to leave work when you planned (school, hospital employees, nurses, CNAs, caregivers) shouldn't be a strike against you. Even when leave requests are approved weeks in advance, if no one can relieve you, you cannot leave work. Good people who are usually on top of things can go through bad periods in life that you'd… think a doctor's office would understand, not penalize. It's really corporate of you to kick someone out for a missed appt years ago, due to work or someone struggling through a difficult time. Money, money wins over people once again.

Dr. Frank was excellent. The whole experience at Ponderosa Family Health was great. I was greeted cordially and seen exactly on time. Dr. Frank asked insightful questions regarding my health and listened to my answers. He didn't push medications by gave thoughtful advise. Overall a positive experience. I would highly recommend him to new patients looking for a local doctor.
