Dr. Ryan Eugene Light, MD

At first, after reading reviews and whatnot, I was pretty relieved to find a quality PCP, but with every subsequent visit I am more and more frustrated, angry, and disappointed. In the handful of times I've actually seen Dr Light, he's condescending, doesn't listen, and doesn't explain anything at all. You get the feeling that you're wasting his time and that your symptoms are all in your head. I even said to him once that I felt like I was wasting his time trying to ask questions about my issue. It should not feel like pulling teeth to get answers about your own body. What's even more infuriating is having to see a load of other people just to get to your actual appointment. There's students, scribes, nurses, and PA's so you have to repeat yourself endlessly. Even AFTER all of that, they still don't actually listen to you. My last appointment I had to see the PA, yet again, who even after I explained how I had a HORRID and dangerous reaction to a medication, he still prescribed it any… way!! I called and left a message, which by the way are NEVER returned, and nothing was done. Besides, even with my fantastic insurance, wasn't covered and was going to be $600. On top of that, I have to yet again pull teeth to get rescue inhaler refills!! I'm a lifelong asthmatic so this is terrifying for me. Next, my husband has started going here as his PCP too which he also regrets. He went in and they diagnosed his issue. A few months later he needed a letter for his job stating they diagnosed this health issue. He called them to see if this was something they could do and they told him yes but it required an appointment. So he made the appointment, took leave from work only for them to tell him that, nope, too bad, they can't write his letter because they didn't diagnose him. They did and even prescribed medication for him! So we wasted a copay! My husband brought it up and they issued a credit instead of a refund. Neither of us will be returning to this office so it's wasted money. I've avoided going in for another appointment despite my health issues being brushed off and unresolved. It feels as if there's an Emporer's New Clothes effect with Dr Light and his PA. I see great reviews and hear a weird cult-like tone in his staff's praise, yet every time I'm in the waiting room, I hear nothing but dissatisfaction and frustration from their patients.

My first visit there was originally for a simple annual checkup. Apparently because I mentioned wanting antidepressants to help with my severe depression the whole visit got changed and ended up costing over 300 bucks since nothing was put in as preventative. I finally had to come back because it was the only way i could renew my meds. I'm there for about 10 minutes and am told they renewed and called my prescription in. This was a tuesday. That friday i finally go to pick it up, and they never even called it in. I called the office and the receptionist just says that she'll talk to the doctor about it and hopefully they can call it in today or tomorrow. It should definitely be done Monday. I tried explaining that i have issues of i dont take my meds and she is saying i need to go 3 days without because of their screw up? At this point I'm mad, i ask if she can have the doctor call me when she finishes with the patient. She said she could definitely do that. No one called back.… Tried calling after an hour and the office e was closed. Dont count on these people when it comes to important prescriptions.

I have been a patient of Dr. Light for several years. Never had any issues. He is honest, caring and spends the necessary time to explain any questions You have. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

I had an appointment at 9:50am and was diagnosed with strep throat. Here we are at 6:26 pm and still no antibiotics have been sent to my pharmacy! With continuous calling, there is still no resolution. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Highly unorganized and lacks professionalism.

Doctor Light is a upbeat , energetic type of doctor that is always fun to visit and he treats your ailments with precision and care! I was his patient for about three years and would still be there if my insurance had not changed forcing me to seek out another Doctor that covered me! Just a great guy!

Love Love Love this practice. Came with a friend about 5 years ago, and immediately switched to this practice for my personal PCP. As a RN, I am quite particular when it comes to physicians for my own health. Dr. Light has always taken his time with me and discussed anything that was concerning to me. He gets to the root of issues instead of just covering them up with medication. Because of him and his staff, I am the healthiest I have been in 30 years. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Light and his staff and proudly recommend him to anyone looking for a PCP.
